I find it hard to believe this is an authentic Chen set, for one thing it has to many wushu elements in it, and some very ambiguous changes it does not seem very martial as Chen taiji is, this might be PRC changed stuff or else one man's attempt to gain fame for himself, we should ask Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang on this matter. Long live real Chen taiji!

@TexasSizzle Someone already asked the Chen Family, this is a actual long fist set just not the one chen family claims as their predecessor. It doesnt seem like chen taiji bekuz its not Chen taijiquan, it never claims to be, what it does claim is its the Chen style 108 "long fist" not chen 108 taijiquan. difference there man.

But the term Taiji is quite new for the Quan of Chenvillage. I guess Chen Fake was the first who call it Taiji.

this is the 108 form, it is the 108 form through chen fake lineage, the chen li-qing 108 form is passed through the xiao jia lineage, there is also another version of this form practiced by hongdong tongbei people. i think it is interesting to see how they have all developed slightly differently. they are all the same form just different interpretations.

The chen li qing 108 was actual recovered from family in shanxi province when they compared the set to some old Chen family manuals and it was the same as in the book, so it wasnt in the Xiao jia lineage, it was reincorporated after being lost for generations. kinda weird story but thats what they say

This is NOT the 108 routine long fist form Chen shi Taijiquan. Chen Li-qing who now resides in Xi'an, teaches the routine that is recognized in Chenjiagou. There is a series of vid's out with Chen ong-Fu teaching/demonstrating this set. It also includes an interview with CLQ and how it came about.
