The glitter doesn't stain the skin and it's not waterproof.

I have seen these ready glitter cones on eBay. But you can also make your own glitter paste with hair gel and a very fine glitter powder. Please, if you have any other question, feel free to leave me a message! :)

i dont like the colour one as much as teh real one....

btw the longer u leave the mehndi to dry, the redder and more vibrant the colour will be and it'll last even longer and when it feels like its drying out, put a mix of lemon juice and sugar on it :)

sparkles and colour is not henna, it is a preparation of glitter and glue. Henna if looked after and oiled after getting it wet, can last up to 3 weeks.

No, Henna is a plant leaf, dried and pounded to powder, then reconstituted using most commonly, lemon juice.. this is applied to the skin to stain it like Ink tattoos, but is it not permanent. The colour is from synthetic plastic gitter or glitter and glue mixtures. All these prepapations are TEMPORARY.. the only colour ones that stay on are actual INK TATTOOS>

Hiya

I've used 2 different types of glitter here:

1. Puff glitter which is lightly puffed onto the wet henna. This will stay on until the henna is scraped off the skin. I use this alot at henna parties and match the glitter colour to the amazing outfits girls wear.

2. Glitter gel: this is used to add accents to the henna paste or applied on the day of wedding/event. Stays on skin up to 6 hours.

The dry puff glitter comes off when the henna paste is taken of the skin leaving just the beautiful henna stain. I use it to make the henna look even more beautiful.

Keep henna on (4/6 hrs) then scrap the off, after about 24/48 hours the henna develops into a beautiful rich dark stain. The colour depends on where it has been applied, hands are always the darkest.

Henna can stay on the skin for up to 3 weeks depending on how you looked after it. If you go swimming or wash lots of dishes without gloves, then it will fade more quickly!

angal13317: There's two ways of applying glitter to henna, one is on the wet henna as here. This mays the henna look gorgeous, imagine being at a party and having the glitter match your outfit. Also I find that when I add glitter this way, people look after their henna more.

The dry glitter that you see me 'puffing' onto the wet henna will stay on as long as the henna paste is on the skin.

The gel glitter can stay on the skin for up to 4/6 hours.

I love it! Riffat does such beautiful henna, and this is one of the best videos I've seen of the process. My only comment would be to add a sort of time-lapse effect of the stain right after the paste is removed, and every few hours until it's at peak... then maybe every day until it's gone. That would be sweet.
