did everything step by step and it worked perfectly. all my music was saved except for the music i bought directly from itunes. i think thats the problem people are having. the people who lost everything had all purchased music.

You definitely did something wrong. The video specifically showed you how to prevent your music from being erased. Either you're an idiot, or you didn't replace the music files when you dragged them from the desktop to the iTunes folder.

I'm seriously hoping you aren't an idiot. And if you seriously messed up, I know a way you can get your music back. Just send me a PM if you screwed up that bad.

everytime i closed my itunes, the music in my library are erased. so i save files again to my itunes. when i closed it again, the same thing happened. same when i closed my yahoo, i need to sign in again and again everytime... i am tired..... please help me.

You didn't uninstall everything (there are no exceptions to what you can't uninstall; it must be all Apple related programs and folders). Try watching the video again making sure you got everything.

You have to uninstall EVERYTHING mentioned in the video. Double check. If you didn't, you'll be getting that message.

Nope. Not unless you actually drag the files to the recycling bin and clear that bin. Just watch the video carefully so you fully fathom how to save your music from being deleted. It's very simple :)

Does iTunes give you some sort of message or anything? Is iTunes confused by it? What is your iPod Touch saying when you plug it in?

Try restarting your computer -- maybe the file was already deleted and it's not showing on the control panel.

Are you sure you aren't running it from maybe your taskbar? That gets me a lot. Be sure to close out of it.
