Central Banks like the Federal Reserve control national FIAT currencies and serve as interest-bearing lenders to private sectors during crises (see bailouts).
Federal Reserve posses no authority to curtail reckless or fraudulent behavior by other banks that may endanger the economy.
Central Banks in developed nations are independently-held, in so far as they operate under 'self-regulating mandates' which render them free from political interference, jurisdictional laws and government oversight.
I would like Paul if he wasn't against church-state separation and didn't want to overturn Roe Vs Wade (though as an OBGYN his position stands by principl as being more informed and less theocratic) so with Kuccinich to balance these things out, I'd say they would make a good ticket. They are both exceptional in that they are ideological and principled and do not have corporate shackles already wrapped around their political hands. A little opposition inspires debate, and debate is good.
The big problem I've heard with this pairing is how drastically different their ideas are on domestic policy. Yet research has shown time and time again that different perspectives shatter like-minded perspectives when it comes to problem-solving tasks.
Nevada brothel owner or two??? WTF was he even hinting at?
in any case,if these two paired up it would be one of the greatest political victory's in American history, they would bring TRUE hope and change, unlike that phony Obama with his dog and pony show for the 99%..pffft,you could'nt buy off Paul and Kucinich for all the money in the world, their not in it for the lobby, power,or personal wealth, they Truly wanna make America better for everyone, except those hell bent on a New World Order
BLACK THIS OUT MONEYBOMB - OCT 19, 2011. Please contribute to the Ron Paul campaign and let your voice be heard. Don't let the main stream media ignore this revolution - Ron Paul 2012
Whether you like them or not, this team would get the majority of the independent vote. Independents are the largest group and the fastest growing. And...it might be the best way to repair the illusion of the huge/ infinitesimal division within our so called two party kleptocracy we are enjoying today. Imagine a Co-presidential administration where each handles issues in the most popular fashion without compromising their personal positions..and without being assassinated by the Banksters!
Why all the negative comments? I was a democrat who favored Kucinich in the 08 election. Now, I favor Paul. I think both have much to offer to this country. I truly do. And I think it's great to see 2 politicians working side-by-side, regardless of party, for the sake of the country. You can't find that much nowadays! So thank goodness for this sensibility. If the polls opened today, you bet your money I'd vote Paul + Kucinich for a greater America.
Dr Paul will never stand for office with Dennis; Dr Paul is opposed to the welfare/warfare state, while Dennis, who IS an honest man, is only opposed to the warfare state and doesn't understand how it depends on the welfare state which he endorses.
Dennis is a nice guy, but he's only an occasional ally; he's not pro-U.S. Constitution.
@InKa4484 Dr Paul has already replied to this question; he said "NO!" and pointed out that while he and Dennis were frequently TEMPORARY allies on questions of foreign policy, on domestic matters they rarely agree. So Ron Paul spoke for himself and I, unlike you, apparently, LISTENED.
I, like Dr Paul am a Libertarian; Dennis is a statist; we agree on occasion but are NOT in agreement on fundamental questions. Anyone who believes we can work together other than temporarily is mistaken.
Thumbs up for Ron and Dennis, not the reporter. Ron Paul can withstand a media whore's snide remark about brothel owners. Spineless sell-outs always smear honest people who make their "teams" look bad. Obama and the rest of the Wall Street mafia can't hold a candle to Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich. Americans who prefer smear campaigns to facts deserve their corrupt leaders. They can't blame Ron and Dennis for squandering over $4 TRILLION on corporate bailouts and wars-for-profit.
@ROCKETMISSILE1234 bogus? Not even close. You realize it won't kick in till 2014 right. Everything you're seeing right now..is not the health care plan. It is the shit we have right now.
@ROCKETMISSILE1234 Dennis didn't "sell out"; he always believed in the welfare state. He has been consistent in his opposition to the warfare state, however. His soul is very much his own still; he just doesn't agree with Libertarians on domestic issues because he ISN'T a libertarian, but a statist. That said, he's the best of a bad lot. I think that Dennis Kucinich is a very honest, decent man who is wrong about the role of government in society.
It does not matter so much what party one represents I learned any more. To me its what there about. The left and right really have a lot more in common than we know. We should get out of this left right paradigm. You know that in the early days it was the Democratic-Republican party. Its a really beautiful thing seeing these honest tough men come together for the people. Its really about who they are, not what they are. The elite want us to keep the left right mind set for there benefit.
Ron Paul: Supports Scott Walker's union bill, complete free trade on a global scale (a union member's night mare), repealing Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the minimum wage (along with local union wages), the Civil Rights act, the Davis Bacon Act, Dodd-Frank Act (Wall Street regulations), and all welfare programs.
He probably shares with Kucinich views on Iraq and Afghanistan, and may be the FED. I wonder what these morons are doing calling for a ticket with Kucinich.
I hate how media portrays Dr. Paul, they act like he isn't an accomplished man.
I forgot he has been elected to his tenth term in Congress in November 2006.
I also don't know that he served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard for 7 years. I also forgot that he got his Doctorate of Medicine from Duke University. I didn't know that he delivered 4000+ babies during his time as a physician. It's a good thing that media leaves all that pointless information out!
@doc7474 I believe Ron Paul was endorsed by the owner of the Bunny Ranch, so this must have been around the time that was in the news. You can probably find a news report if you search for it.
@BobGeorgeAU - You are 100% correct in your statement. The liberal bias media cannot engage in truths, so the resort to trying to discredit the person.
This is why Ron Paul had no chance in 2008. Because of jerk-off "news" guys like this asshole. "He might bring a brothel owner or two"? WTF was that? All this mocking of Ron Paul was why nobody voted for him in the primaries. Fuck MSNBC. First they mocked Ron Paul in 2008, then in 2010 they called his son a racist. How is this considered a news network?
They are both AGAINST Corporate Welfare, both want to fully investigate the Federal Reserve, they are both against NAFTA and WTO, they both voted to end "Don't ask, don't tell", both are against the War on Drugs, both agree The US Executive branch & Federal government IS TOO BIG & HAS TOO MUCH POWER, both have repeatedly stood up against their parties and neocons.
THis is an awesome vid. Paul-Kucinich or Kucinich-Paul in 2012. They would shake up the politcal landscape enough that even if they lost the election, they would still win in a larger sense.
America would be the Greatest Nation on Earth, again, if Dr. Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich were running the show. They are both great leaders, smart, for the PEOPLE - which is very rare, pro liberty, too many good qualities to list.
@TwiztedAnimator, i have to agree, i was litteraly amazed how these two were dismissed at the "debates" and people like palin and mccain "stole the show"
almost everyone at those debates, debated like a 6yearold, was pretty embarassed when i watched those :D
@Darusdei I agree, it's almost as if the people "ruining".... I mean "running" our country never grew out of that Jr. High / High School "Clique" mentality. I can't believe that someone like Dr. Paul can be called an idiot and with the same breath that person says McCain is a a great leader.......
Only in the USA can someone like Dr. Paul or Kucinich be labeled an idiot and people like Bush and Obama become President. I can't believe Bush was President twice!
@TwiztedAnimator We need a more secure voting system because it's rigged and we all know it. The Diabold scheme is what got Bush elected. How Obama is still president is beyond me! An RP/DK ticket would be really awesome! No more corporate machine tickets!!!!
Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich 2012.......or maybe RP/Jesse Ventura with Kucinich as Secretary of State.........that way they'd have to assassinate 3 people to take back control.
RP would be safer that way.....the only thing that scares the establishment more than Ron Paul is Jesse Ventura......so they'd have to take both out at once.
That would leave the meek(Kucinich) to inherit the throne and try to make things right......of course they'd kill him too, who we kidding?
This fucking cunt. They were digging so hard to find some dirt on Paul, so get this, a Nevada brothel owner voted for Paul. So now that links Paul to Nevada brothel owners, nevermind the pedofiles and Klan members that voted for Bush, or any other wackjobs in the world that vote. We all need to know about a brothel owner that liked Paul. Fuck this cunt reporter, intentionally misleading people.
Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich and Alan Grayson should form "Constitutional Party" or even join the "Libertarian Party" so that the good people can fight back against these political crooks and criminal bankers.
@wanghobb if that happened then america would be just like snow white. deer and rabbits and birds flying with ribbons would circle around the white house and sing lol. shit would be awesome. meanwhile the wiked witches would be cast into oblivion. lmao.
Yeah Paul and Kucinich! Perfect winning ticket! Both honest, genuine and speak the truth. Both hate the frederal Reserve and fractional reserve banking!
"Kucinich & Paul are the smartest, most noble gentlemen in congress we have today."
A Kucinich/Paul ticket would appeal to all moderates. No one fights on who's right or wrong on domestic issues. We work our differences out. Not like Obama wanting to work w/ Republicans.
Kucinich and Paul are for real. They care about this country's future. Two anti-Bush candidates aligned to save the world.
Plus both are very good friends with dyametrical ideologies.
@bradwjensen Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich together. Google that. Both are principled gentlemen. TOGETHER THEY CAN WIN!
Register to vote as a Republican, or he CANNOT win the Republican nomination, because YOU will NOT be eligible to vote for him in the PRIMARY! You can still vote however you want in the final election.
Thanks for posting that - I have been spreading that all over youtube.I can just see a lot of disappointed young voters on primary day who are registered Dems . Let's do our part and make sure you register as a Republican to vote Ron Paul . The PRIMARY is what matters ,guys . If he loses there , it's over .
A presidential candidate that wants to do something no other candidate seems interested in doing.....Upholding the oath of office and restoring the constitution.....how irrelevant a candidate indeed....
negative comments are fine. but negative comments without justification of your point or a reason behind your point gives it the impression it is groundless and frankly plain silly. I was researching Kucinich, that's why i noticed your comments. don't be too full of yourself xD
thanks for taking the time to read all my posts during the course of your 'research'. The list of justifications to my point are way too long to list here. If you would just like me to priase him to make your life a little easier I could do so. Go Kucinich!
thanks. now i can sleep at night, i often wondered why America was slipping slowly down the pan. Now i realise because anyone who disagrees and points out fault in anything is immediately "irrelevant". my research is just peronsal interest in politics. don't look down on it.
I quote a philosopher, Thomas Paine.
"A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong gives it a superficial appearance of being right".
The longer america refuses to indulge in critical thinking, the worse it'll get.
The guy saying that about potential of nuclear war does not seem biased to me. he seems like he knows what he's talking about. Having had experience in the field. Scare tactics "coercing a favorable response by preying upon the audience's fears", i personally believe the difference between scare tactics and informing people of very real truths are different. Scare tactics, as above, you prey on a fear regadless of truth. This guy speaking was telling it like it is, not preying at all.
of course it all seems truthful and credible to you - Kucinich is a politician like any other, fooling - i mean, convincing people like you is his job.
maybe it takes intelligence to be a good judge of character and more over a good judge of policy. You think this guy, who has no hope of winning due to the media, is running for president to further his currier? or to go down in history? or because he gives a shit about american people and believes in American principles?
Opinion is opinion, thanks for the nice discussion. Case closed :)
i think it's more to advance his own 'career' but maybe his 'currier' needs a bit of advancing too. Is a 'currier' a machine designed to make curry? Maybe he should open a curry restaurant instead, then maybe people will care what he has to say.
interesting how your fault in the argument was based on a mis-spelling of a word. since this has gotten a bit too petty on your part, i'll leave this and think twice for expecting 'content and context' from a youtube comments board.
i acknowledge you think he's after furthering his career, but i disagree. if he was trying to do that wouldn't he be for the War? wouldn't he be jumping on the terrorism bandwagon and doing the seemingly acceptable thing of turning the USA into a police state?
Being for the war doesn't seem very popular -so he's jumped right onboard the anti-war bandwagon. But anti-kucinich comments are petty right? maybe this arrogance is what keeps Kucinich out of the white house.
well the popular thing in my view is "we need to help these people help themselves by forcing democracy on them and invade their country" and "we o what we gotta do". Ron Paul and Kucinich wanted them to come home to the USA, period. Anti-war might be what the people want but as long as TV watching Americans follow the media as absolute truth i think you will get more like GW Bush. Tragic. MLK told the USA not to think their the policemen of the world, JFK followed similar beliefs and was killed
Sorry to ramble, but when i start thinking it all flows at once.
Im not american, im from the UK, and i would choose someone like Kucinich or Ron Paul. it's policy that should be important, not jibes at each other like Obama and Clinton. Politics should be for the people's best interests, not for their entertainment.
All of the above is an opinion only
PS im bored of arguing with you, your opinion is your own, i challenged it, agree to disagree? fine by me. do what you want with your country
shame about finding fault in something like that over content of my argument.
Im sure you wont leave these comments be now, even though i have washed my hands with it. But i respond out of courtesy, to answer a question.
I am bored of it. Enjoy having the last comment as im sure you'll come back with something completely irrelevant to the case such as "you spellt something wrong". Ignorance is bliss :)
I wonder if Kucinich knows how to spell? it wouldn't be very good for his 'curriur' otherwise.
i guess that since you've conveniently washed your hands of this debate you won't be able to tell me why Kucinich caused a fiscal crisis in Cleveland in his only attempt at executive leadership. No other major city went into default since the Great Depression.
oh btw you spelt 'spelt' wrong but maybe it was a typo so i'll let it go this time.
What's with this commentator??Mi nimizing Ron Paul's huge & popular message of Freedom, & minimizing his success in Nevada by saying he gets the brothel owner's vote. Not to mention implying he is just a fringe Libertarian. The corporate media is censoring Ron Paul big time; their Globalist owners don't want Ron Paul to rstore the Constitution & stop Fascism.
I was a BIG Ron Paul supporter until this weekend, when I saw this video: v=6JyvkjSKMLw.
But, prior to that, this would've been my dream ticket, if the players were reversed, with Paul as President and Kucinich as V.P. Why? Because, in my opinion, the main value of Ron Paul is putting the Veto Stamp in the hands of "Dr. No." Him as V.P. would actually take AWAY the one vote of 435 he has now, and only let him cast the occasional Senate tie-breaker vote.
Thats funny,I get a thumbs down for speaking the truth,if Kucinich respected the Bill Of Rights I would consider voting for him,it's his vice thats unexcuseable.
Wake up people, vote for Ron Paul, vote for freedom!
that Nevada brothel owner comment was in poor taste. just goes to show you how when the media HAS to cover this guy, they have to find a way to smear him doing it.
Ron Paul is my guy, and if required to bring Kucinich along.. I'd be willing to do it. screw the 2 party system!
First rule of journalism = don't ask a question you don't know every answer to. The answer is "yes" and it is a counter-movement in the mainstream media to maintain the power over your mind.
Ron Paul would pop all those monopoly bubbles with a stranglehold on our lives. The Federal Reserve, T-W/AOL, Rockefeller, Turner, Disney/ABC, Google, Walton, Gates, and Murdoch, I'm looking at you! All benefit from keeping you ignorant about Ron Paul, Greg Palast, Alex Jones and Chalmers Johnson.
Seriously. How about we delve into the backgrounds of the "main stream" candidates? Israeli spies, Chinese spies, Indian spies, military industrialists, corporate criminals, drug lobbysists, tobacco lobbyists....
Far greater threats to our liberty and national security- and instead this clown is freaking out about a brothel owner. Go run home to mommy...
This is not an accurate statment. Ron Paul simply supports Constitutional State rights to govern their own affairs without so much federal interference/oversight. In otherwords, if Nevada votes for prostitution to be legal in Nevada, then that is up to the citizens of Nevada to decide.
Man if Ron Paul picked Kucinich as his running mate, there would be no chance for anyone else to even come close to win. The hardest thing for paul is to get the Republican nomination. I know its a longshot since its all rigged. But if enough people vote for him and if there is a fake winner, then we would revolt.
I love both of them.

TwiztedAnimator 1 year ago

We're screwed....

Plus both are very good friends with dyametrical ideologies.

this is not the first video i've seen this comment of yours on. why spam this crap? So many groundless statements on this website ^^
hoppie182 3 years ago
thanks for following my posts. if you can't handle negative comments about yor beloved kucinich then perhaps you shouldn't read these comments.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
negative comments are fine. but negative comments without justification of your point or a reason behind your point gives it the impression it is groundless and frankly plain silly. I was researching Kucinich, that's why i noticed your comments. don't be too full of yourself xD
hoppie182 3 years ago
thanks for taking the time to read all my posts during the course of your 'research'. The list of justifications to my point are way too long to list here. If you would just like me to priase him to make your life a little easier I could do so. Go Kucinich!
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
thanks. now i can sleep at night, i often wondered why America was slipping slowly down the pan.
Peace.
hoppie182 3 years ago
When did i look down on yor interest in politics? why get all defensive? Damn i didn't realise not voting for Kucinich meant the end of the world.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
maybe not Kucinich, but if you vote pro-war you may well be contributing to something close to it. and the end of the world for alot of people.
Stay in Iraq and go into Iran and there will be a nuclear insident.
i direct your attention to /watch?v=0wMDARDxyRo
im not saying you have voted pro-war or anything, but your above statement may hold some irony. at least i think so
hoppie182 3 years ago
i didn't realize that even kucinich fans relied on scare tactics to gain support.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
The guy saying that about potential of nuclear war does not seem biased to me. he seems like he knows what he's talking about. Having had experience in the field. Scare tactics "coercing a favorable response by preying upon the audience's fears", i personally believe the difference between scare tactics and informing people of very real truths are different. Scare tactics, as above, you prey on a fear regadless of truth. This guy speaking was telling it like it is, not preying at all.
Regards
hoppie182 3 years ago
of course it all seems truthful and credible to you - Kucinich is a politician like any other, fooling - i mean, convincing people like you is his job.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
maybe it takes intelligence to be a good judge of character and more over a good judge of policy. You think this guy, who has no hope of winning due to the media, is running for president to further his currier? or to go down in history? or because he gives a shit about american people and believes in American principles?
Opinion is opinion, thanks for the nice discussion. Case closed :)
hoppie182 3 years ago
i think it's more to advance his own 'career' but maybe his 'currier' needs a bit of advancing too. Is a 'currier' a machine designed to make curry? Maybe he should open a curry restaurant instead, then maybe people will care what he has to say.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
interesting how your fault in the argument was based on a mis-spelling of a word. since this has gotten a bit too petty on your part, i'll leave this and think twice for expecting 'content and context' from a youtube comments board.
i acknowledge you think he's after furthering his career, but i disagree. if he was trying to do that wouldn't he be for the War? wouldn't he be jumping on the terrorism bandwagon and doing the seemingly acceptable thing of turning the USA into a police state?
THINK
hoppie182 3 years ago
Being for the war doesn't seem very popular -so he's jumped right onboard the anti-war bandwagon. But anti-kucinich comments are petty right? maybe this arrogance is what keeps Kucinich out of the white house.
pineappleboy1 3 years ago
well the popular thing in my view is "we need to help these people help themselves by forcing democracy on them and invade their country" and "we o what we gotta do". Ron Paul and Kucinich wanted them to come home to the USA, period. Anti-war might be what the people want but as long as TV watching Americans follow the media as absolute truth i think you will get more like GW Bush. Tragic. MLK told the USA not to think their the policemen of the world, JFK followed similar beliefs and was killed
hoppie182 3 years ago
Sorry to ramble, but when i start thinking it all flows at once.
Im not american, im from the UK, and i would choose someone like Kucinich or Ron Paul. it's policy that should be important, not jibes at each other like Obama and Clinton. Politics should be for the people's best interests, not for their entertainment.
All of the above is an opinion only
PS im bored of arguing with you, your opinion is your own, i challenged it, agree to disagree? fine by me. do what you want with your country
hoppie182 3 years ago 2
i thought you got bored and wanted to end this ages ago?
pineappleboy1 3 years ago

shame about finding fault in something like that over content of my argument.
Im sure you wont leave these comments be now, even though i have washed my hands with it. But i respond out of courtesy, to answer a question.
I am bored of it. Enjoy having the last comment as im sure you'll come back with something completely irrelevant to the case such as "you spellt something wrong". Ignorance is bliss :)
hoppie182 3 years ago 2
I wonder if Kucinich knows how to spell? it wouldn't be very good for his 'curriur' otherwise.
i guess that since you've conveniently washed your hands of this debate you won't be able to tell me why Kucinich caused a fiscal crisis in Cleveland in his only attempt at executive leadership. No other major city went into default since the Great Depression.
oh btw you spelt 'spelt' wrong but maybe it was a typo so i'll let it go this time.

RonPaultard 4 years ago
This is not an accurate statment. Ron Paul simply supports Constitutional State rights to govern their own affairs without so much federal interference/oversight. In otherwords, if Nevada votes for prostitution to be legal in Nevada, then that is up to the citizens of Nevada to decide.

Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich on the same ticket. America's dreams may just come true.
