I have heard some nerdy chaps where I live talking about it like its the dogs bollocks of a game amzing they were saying and what they were doing in the game so I checked out this video to see what all the fuss is about and to be honest I laughed because the graphics are so well back in the past its not funny but people like it so im not going to hate on it.
@johncoster2007 The game was desgined by a swedish man, it doesn't have the budget of a 'blockbuster' game. Minecraft offers you the ability to make whatever you want or explore if you want to. Do whatever you want to.
@johncoster2007 Calling out a game based solely on graphics is a petty man's insult. It's this mentality of "Good graphics makes good game" that makes games take 10x as long to be made and sacrifice actual fun in return for a decent looking game.
Besides, the more basic graphics of this game lend themselves well to the modding community, more people can invent really fun and cool things for the game because it doesn't take them three weeks to make a character walk across a room.

You can't tell me that a game with over 4.5 million sales is in anyway bad because of it's graphics. Hell, as far as PC gaming goes, Terraria and it's sprites matched head to head with Modern Warfare 3 the week it's 1.1 patch released.
