he really is good live. i really dont like the way the style is developing though, the old style 'more chilled' daedelus is like 10 times better than this 'dance music for the masses' phase he going through....but then again, the long lost is quite awesome as well

@mutedmakequiet I have the recording of this show and it's actually quite old. He always changes his live show based on the audience. Even when he was touring doing stuff from albums like invention and snowdonia (which are pretty damn mellow) he pumps it up for the live act because he knows that is what people want. You only see him slow it down when he knows the audience is familiar with his work and is going there to see him and not just some electronica act at a club.

i understand what you mean, but i was a huge daedelus fan back in the days, he could carry you away with his crazy toy sounds and mellow highness. but i went to see him live, granted the crowd was enjoying it, but i felt like i may as well go to a generic danceclub and still it wouold be the same. stupid audiences dont know jack!

@mutedmakequiet I agree, I like the uniqueness of Daedelus's early studio stuff compared to the live show. I mean sometimes you see a live recording where the mellowness comes out, but for the most part it is just dance music. I saw one show where nobody was even dancing because they all expected standard dance stuff. Daedelus just ditched the whole idea of dance and started messing around with all sorts of crazy shit. It was awesome but awkward at the same time with no one dancing.
