I saw this show back in 2010 in Montréal. The first half were song from others interpreted by PG and the second half was the equivalent of this new album; all with the New Blood Orchestra. Very nice and different.
Breathtaking....nothing better than a full throttle orchestra led by one of the few seasoned veterans who could pull it off. One of the best performances to grace the Sullivan stage. Pure class....
Oh, man I was so glad I caught this performance on Letterman! I ADORE Peter Gabriel. I can't believe he still has that amazingly gorgeous voice, and the orchestration and arrangement definitely gave this song new life. I saw him live during the "So" tour and became obsessed. Funny story: During "Lay Your Hands On Me," he dove into the audience and we did just that. Everybody wanted a piece of him -- by the time he got back to the stage, he'd been stripped nearly naked hahaha
Truly one of the most inspirational artists for decades. Saw this tour in Berkeley, CA. 1st saw Garbriel in "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" with Genesis in early 70's
This is amazing! What voice, what tune and fantastic orchestral arrangement...and painting an evocative picture with music...I'm going to get the album...
@gt3dug I really hope you have a chance to see him live. I was fortunate enough to see the New Blood tour during the first and second legs, and both times were phenomenal. I've loved his music all my life, but nothing tops hearing it live.
Peter Gabriel seems to get better with age. Saw a video of one of his recent concerts and was blown away with the innovation and high creativity. Throw in that unique voice and some great tunes and you get a show I would like to see in person.
this was an AMAZING performance. The kids were effing awesome. Great back-up singers. Great musicians. Absolutely fabulous job all around. Peter Gabriel is so effing talented.
should have had Copeland on the kit for this

I generally admire Peter Gabriel, and he did a fine job with his vocals, the orchestra performed
well, but this brought absolutely nothing new to the material. The orchestration was not nearly
as well developed or compelling as the original recording.

Peter gives "Red Rain" the orchestral treatment and scores big time (two unintended puns in there)! Very excited to hear the new album.

My friend Rosie is one of Peter Gabriels backing singer/ n. She's the backing singer with short red hair. Well done Rosie, you were brilliant :-)
