I enjoyed the video. I wish that I could become proficient in many languages. English is my first language, but I am studying German, but I am not that great at it. I have also studied French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin.
@LearningFrenchNow Chinese school was just on saturday, so my normal school was in dutch => 5 years in dutch school and then I changed into a french speaking school and now I'm at university in french xD I wasn't learning those languages (french, dutch) because everyone just spoke those languages, it's like your mothertongue is english, well in belgium it's french and dutch !
Spanish is a little hard for those who are no familiar to latin... but it's not imposible. I speak 5 languages as well but I want to learn more. Cheers!!
@meyiyiyi55 You're right ! It's because I got more exposure to english through youtube ! I really don't have anyone to speak to in english here so I have to use youtube to get better in english ! Thanks for the comment !

@ssalinasc The first language is always the hardest. The process gets easier as you move on to more languages, even if the overall difficulty of the language intensifies.

During the time that you were in Chinese school in Belgium for 8 years, were you also learning French and Dutch in school during that same time?
