  • "Why of all days he picked enchilada night to go for a drive, I will never know."

  • the seat belt didn't save my brother, probably killed him because he was unable to get his head away from the roof of the car. Seat belts have also killed people because they are caught under water and can't get them undone. yes, probably 98% of the time you are safer with it on but I don't think it should be a law when there are cases that you are safer without it on. Seat belts took my brother away from me and by God will not take me as well.

  • That brought several tears to my eyes, well done! It's the law people, a good one. Wear your seatbelts!

  • Wow, that was wonderfully done.

  • i was fucking thinking about the hands seatbelts yesterday XD damn it i should have made it into commercial lolz

  • the genius that came up with this idea should get a nobel prize.

  • This reminds me of the Dead Island trailer somehow...

  • I always wear my seatbelt, even though I didn't like it when I was younger.

I was in a bad car wreck a couple of years ago, flipping my car completely one-and-a-half times. If I hadn't have been wearing my seatbelt, despite all the bruises the belt left, I would have probably died.

  • Amazing, creative and brilliant

  • Sergeant Sam says, "I never unbuckled a dead man."

  • ... I have goosebumps

  • wow what an amazing way to get a point across. didnt need a single word

  • OMG! what a beautiful way to communicate to us!

  • so beautiful.

  • beautiful commercial!!! ppl shud learn sumthin frm this!!

  • @97twilighters

Yes, now try one of one those grammar videos ! x5

  • now if only my seatbelt were a small child and her mother...

  • EXCEPTIONAL! IT'S GOING ON MY BLOG.

However, when my son had a rollover and was ejected through the open window after hitting a soft shoulder (not drinking, just reaching to change the radio station), the office on site first said had he had his seatbelt on, he would have been cut in two. But we still all wear them.

  • @kidfromstatenisland True-there are always going to be accidents where it would be better not to be restrained, but in the majority of car crashes they make a lifesaving difference. What to do, what to do?

  • This is poetry!

  • When I was 18 I was a passenger in a car that was side swiped by another car going 75 mph. It sent my side of the car into a telephone pole and crushed the car. If I had had my seatbelt on, I would be dead right now from crush injuries caused by the telephone pole. Instead i was thrown of the way and received less severe injuries. Also, my cousin strangled on his seatbelt when his car flipped over and he was knocked unconscious.

  • @rugbymom75 im sure your incident was very horrible. but the fact remains that a seatbelt saves way more lives than it hurts.. and those that do not wear them tend to lose a life rather than be saved by not wearing it. so i really hope ur situation has not convinced u not to ever wear one.. the next time may not result the same

  • Film making with creative & humanity

  • The imagery in this piece is extraordinary. The innocence, the simplicity, the imagination, were just amazing. And the presentation of the impact was beyond words. And the message was loud and clear. I have posted this commercial a few times on my facebook page and I think it is time to do it again.

  • 2 days ago my toyota tacoma was t-boned at an intersection.I was going straight &the woman that hit me was going60+ miles an hour I spun around&flipped 5 times.they cut me out of my truck.taken to the emergency room by ambulance as a trauma patient.I was released 4 hours later with cuts, scrapes&many many bruises. But i WALKED AWAY. My seatbelt saved my life. I would not be writing this right now if it wasnt for my sense to put on my belt. The EMT's from looking at the truck thought i was dead

  • That was pretty awesome.

  • Pros - Cons.....I'm wearing mine....

  • Are there people who actually are against seatbelts? Or is it a case of people forgetting to use them (or fix them)?

In any case, seatbelts for the win.

  • perfect

  • *.*

  • maybe he shouldn't have had that last beer

  • Ça m'a touché beaucoup! Magnifique! J'adore le moment quand il a heurté! La réalisation et découpage sont superbe et ont fait remarquablement!

  • just..........wonderfull.........

  • Seat belts will save you in more circumstances than they will not. Idiots.

  • Absolutely Brilliant. If that does not put the message across.Nothing Will.

  • ok I'm in a weird mood right now... but that brought a tear to my eye

  • CARALHO!

    ARREPIE!

  • It's very beautiful.

  • genius...

  • We used to play "professionally choreographed pretend car crash" at home all the time. Lol.

  • And what if u ride and get sum crash with seatbelts and speed 125mph/200kmph?

You will get smashed... without them u may suvive by falling out through front window. And if ppl feel more safe, then they behave less safe, in that case, they will drive moar liek "professional drivers" and dont give a fuck about other users of the road... ;\

    UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES

  • @Cyceron When my family hit a train back in 1990 the seatbelt in the front wasn't working and all my mother could do was wrap her legs around the hooks under the seat, she was lucky she only hit the windshield and bounced back and didn't have any serious injuries except needing stitches. That told my father taught my dad to quickly get things fixed when they needed it instead of putting off all the time till later, for it could save one of our lives.

  • @Cyceron good point but I hope you considered probability when you said this. Its safer to wear a seatbelt whethere those consequences are present or not.

  • Wow, now that's awesome!

  • Simply beautiful and the point is powerfully stated.

  • WOW This is SO Beautifully Done.. Absolutely Amazing :-)

  • Maybe he just sneezed...

  • Seatbelts are at best a part of the equation.

2,600 lbs of Honda getting plowed into by 5,200 lbs of delivery truck and shoved into the intersection to be T-boned by 3,900 lbs of mom and the soccer team... seat belts will be rendered meaningless the instant the first micron of paint starts to peel away under impact.

Then the laws of gross tonnage assume command of the outcome.

  • @MrGunnerRetired Yep... F=MA

  • Wow is right. This is truly profound and artistic, not to mention extremely good acting by all parties. Wiping away the tears to share this with others too.

  • My college band director emailed this to us. He said watch this before we drive back to campus before band camp. It's very beautiful. I think all college students should watch this before going back to campus.

  • AWESOME !!!

  • Wow, really a wonderful commercial, if this doesn't make you think nothing will.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow!

  • i didn't understand this commercial, what means the family embrace the father?

to he think in the family? Dosen't make sense.

  • @nivaldin

no, the family is playing the part of a seatbelt

  • Comment removed

  • @nivaldin Many people will not put on their seat belts for themselves, but the thought of their families having to deal with their injury or death causes them to wear the seat belts. His wife and child saved him because he put on the belts for them. And, no language was needed to get the point across.

  • @nivaldin what the fuck are you dumb?

  • Perfect.
