this song reminds me of when I lost my son to SIDS. It cost me my marriage but yet her music has always sustained me. her music has sustained me through some of the worst (and best) times of my life. thank you.
This album was very important to me. I'm a guy but I was 18 -19 when this was released. I was listening to all sorts of stuff at the time from Tool to the Grateful Dead, Tori Amos and Uncle Tupelo. This album pulled at that part of my core that was passionate, pained and romantic as you can only be in those formative years of your life. She's had some OK stuff since but this one will always be special.
I don't know what it is about this thing, but it alwaysmakes me feel peaceful and relaxed, - as most of Sarah's music does to me.. "Fumbling Towards Ecstacy" is one of my favorite albums of all time. It helped to launch my own journey to self discovery and self accetance.
Thank you for putting up these songs. I haven't been able to hear these since I lost my original album. So inspiring, I used this album to write entire stories!

"newborn hope unjaded by their years". Me and Sarah were both in our mid 20s when she wrote that. Now Im jaded, I wonder if she is.

this song has always reminded me of watching heavy snowfall from my bedroom window as a teen. through the lights of passing cars and streetlights.
