Thai Airways is by far the worst airline I have every flown with. You're lucky to get 2 drinks on your flight back to the UK (11 hours!). And don't expect any smiles either... guessing they're just happy to get rid of you.

@daerone16 btw i think you fly once time and you was missed think service maybe you was on toilet or other every year im going with thai airways so dont say that overall watch other airlines also... every eating time you get 2 times minimum drink so if you are long flight 2X2 minimum times you have chance to drink btw also have night services on thai airways every hour have drinking always served water or orange or apple juice and dont forget all plane have button for call the flight attendant.

I don't fly with Thai to BKK anymore because on the LHR route they use the old 747's without personal tv screens. They offer a great hospitality but are just not up to the standard of the Middle Eastern airlines, at least on this route. If they improved the entertainment I would fly with them again, but for the minute I'm using Emirates and Qatar.

i like the thai airways 777 but i think theyre 747's r shody the overhead luggage compartment in one i went in had broken off from the ceiling and it was bouncing up and down and one of the seats was held together with duct tape! when we hit turbulence i was like shit! and just watching the luggage compartment bounce like crazy!

My cousin flown with a very old 747 of thai. she said it was very uncomfortable, thank god I had another aircraft the same day =D The TG A340-600 the most comfortable aircaft I have ever flown with. The older 747's are being replaced by A380's, 787-10's, A350-1000's and very maybe also 747-8Intercontinental.
