Skool sux.. it was like a prison! have you read the Anastasia series of books? You might like them.. book 3 talks about a school deep in the forest somewhere in Russia.  It was designed, built and decorated entirely by students without adult supervision. The students cover a 10-year math syllabus in just one year, while learning 3 foreign languages, martial arts and ballroom dancing. The students come and go as they please, and their parents pay no fees. I got up to book 3
