I love this song!!! Such soul, such feeling. You can really feel the singer's longing and need for this girl to love him back. Music really used to make you feel something so beautiful and real. I wish it still did. Even though this music isn't my generation, I love it so. I put this song on my Ipod and I reminisce about my first unrequited love or listen to it when I want to relax. It sounds a little too sophisticated and polished for the mid 50s, I'm thinking it came along near the end of Doo-Wop around '62-'63, about the same time Patsy Cline made here last record with all the smooth orchestration.
