i was going to get an Archos 5, but I'm definitely sold on the cowon Q5. I own a archos 605 wifi for 2 years and now it's time for an upgrade.

Can some of you guys tell me which one to buy, the new Cowon A3 of the cowon Q5W ?? I really like the Q5w, but the A3 seems to have seems to have some nice options to.. it has a bigger codec pack for audio and video, it has more extended audio EQ and it has presets, but I can't find that on the Q5, on the cowon site. Can someone advise me? thanks!

i have an a2 and its pretty awesome the a3 has a wider codec base and is def. smaller but you also lose bluetooth wifi a remote voice chat internet and the touchscreen and im sure they will have more codec in the firmware updates

id go with the q5w because i dont care about size but i would be pretty afraid of killing the screen..

Mind as well buy a UMPC. That thing is very expensive. The only reason to get it is because it's iaudio which means the sound will be really nice.

You mean 1/4 of that,approximately. It's $600 for the 60 gig version,$550 for the 40. You have a fair enough point,they're not for everyone @ present;but,they are the future of technology.
