Thats cool. I'd like to get a more jamerson sound on my P bass but in a more low budget way...can't afford the '62 reissue. I got a '93 Fender P Mexican made which I like. EMG active pups in it now and they are ok but arent really doing it for me. I'd like to recreate a 50's or early 60's P vibe but in an affordable way. Thinking of buying the '57 Fender Reissue Pups they sell online and installing those and maybe I'll get some of those Labella Flats. Anyway, Keep it up, you sound great!
I Would go with the seymour duncan antiquity 11 pickups. they might even sound better then the original 60's fender pickups what a job they did incredible! highley recomended.

Yes, It's a Flatwound La Bella 760FL Medium gauge. The one that James Jamerson Used on all his recordings.
