Looks like a contraption that the eccentric Caractacus Potts on chitty chitty bang bang would have made, awesome. I'm looking to make a home made water distiller myself.
ATTENTION EVERYBODY WHO DRINKS DISTILLED WATER PLEASE READ!!!
ok i have a few questions for you.
1. do you drink it everyday?
2. have you been drinking it for many years?
3. have you had any adverse reactions to it?
the reason i am asking this is because i want to know if it is safe to drink for long term consumption. there is so many lies about water, and i have yet to find any scientific study's proving it is safe for long term consumption, but i have also not found any that prove it is bad.
@cronicjointpain Me and my wife are drinking distilled water every day for the past 3 years now and there is no adverse reaction.
There is a lot of misinformation about this actually about many things.
Rain water is also distilled water except for the fact that is collecting some pollutants from the air.
But distilled water is pure water just H2O and tap water has some more dissolved elements some good some bad but that is close to zero for your body most is from the food.
@electrodacus ok thanks for the info i have researched it quite a bit since i posted that comment above but thanks anyway, i know what distilled water is i just wanted to verify the safety of it
@cronicjointpain If you have concern about the missing minerals just buy a bottle of quality mineral water and add 5% to the distilled water it will be similar dissolved mineral as on tap water but without the heavy metals and bad chemicals.
But distilled water is good for you people that say different do not know what distilled water is.
That looks crazy! You should be explaining how this work. If you know anything of government corruption, you would realize that they have been dumbing us down for a while now. LOL seriously though.
In an emergecy ;;if you lose city water to your house, you still have 50 or 70 gals. of drinking water in your hot water heater.Just attach a garden hose to the spicket at the bottom of tank and it will drain out by gravity.
pretty cool. my physics teacher showed same thing with bunsen burner boiling water then the steam going through some tubes and becoming distilled water

@cronicjointpain
Distilled water is just that, H2O stripped down to only 2H and O2

put your cup on ice so the hot distilled water doesnt evaporate!

another brilliant invention that will fall by the wayside from poor presentation! Is the inventor a mute??? doesnt even explain how it works!!!

Great job. You should be capturing the steam though, which could be condensed into more water.
