Basically, a monetary unit is a weight in that commodity. It is absolutely important that such monetary commodity be homogenous, divisible, portable, etc. Land would not work. Each acre is different.

that guest knows more about inflation/deflation than max. What he said is spot on. The dollar is being inflated, and the "deflation" is actually a reduction in perceived value caused by collapsing debt structures.
When debt goes bad, there is no deflationary effect. All the money that was created is still out there, but a perceived asset of yours have diminished in value (bank account, stocks, house price). The "deflation" is actually broke people realizing they have been robbed and selling.

My understanding is that 1 billion volts are shot into the ionosphere, where it can create holes in the ionosphere and cause rapid shifts in the atmosphere upward. It can also somehow be amplified by creating waves in the ionosphere, then be directed by land-based receivers. For anyone interested, Holes in Heaven is an excellent documentary to check out.

The only way you people will learn is to get your commodity backed currency and then watch it all fall apart again. Nobody ever asks why the USA lost it in the first place.
People have to give up the USD and the USD reserve currency system or they will die. Even harder to manipulate than gold and silver paper is food/commodity prices. Good luck faking food. @099749 People just assume the state is at all necessary to regulate the marketplace yet fails to account for the definition of the word "regulation" and actually comparing that definition with how it is actually done. Regulation = Normalize, if an authority enforces a norm through threat of force, is it really normative in the first place? To me, a norm is emergent, if you force people into submitting to a law, that is CONTROL or even manipulation, not REGULATION.

I guess you're not aware that there are many more private police and security agents than there are govt police.
Yet govt police are the ones who invade people's homes in the middle of the night, shoot people and animals, and get promoted for doing so.
Yet govt police are the ones who get to molest people at airports.
Yet govt police are the ones who rob people at gun point for nothing.

Oh right so should they bust into your house and shoot you, you'll say "you're not allowed to do that, I'm taking my business else where," even though almost all companies are in some way interconnected with the corporations today, so you pay them one way or the other

No I repeated the very thing you yourself moaned about the gov police, killing people and breaking into houses, speak for yourself. And it appears your saying who evers in power they break into your house and shoot you, so I'd rather a business did it, than government did.
