Well I guess it wouldn't be cool if you don't believe in matching EVERYTHING against the word of God!
It's amazing how many folk at this event were biblically illiterate and I'm not talking about the youth but those who claimed to be theologians, youth pastors &bible students!
The punishment for sin is death....and is that it? We all die, so what? What about the 2nd death? What about the consequence of rejecting Jesus Christ and going to HELL or does Lecrae not believe in a literal place called Hell? A VERY SHALLOW presentation of the TRUE gospel.
What about turning from the SIN of 'christian' Rock/rap?
Hey! Are you the guy that was standing out the front of Exo in the morning with the "Christian rock is from the pit of hell" sign?? If so i would like to discuss your issues with it. Even if you're not that guy then i'd really like 2 clear some things up with you brother to brother.
Ur crazy, Lecrae is being a tool for Christ He's speaking to thousands of young people through his music. and believe me. this guy has more scripture in his songs than i've ever heard in any other genre of music. and don't hate on other christian genres They can reach just as many kids. I'm sure someone like u got ticked off back in the day when Amazing Grace came around. Christians are just progressing with their musical talents that God has given them. so chill, Let Lecrae do what God wants
Really-please show me from the SCRIPTURES where God condones 'Christian' rock/rapping/worldly concerts as a Biblical method for reaching the lost. The ends NEVER justify the means if the means are unbiblical.
Now, if your final authority is NOT the Bible, which I suspect is the case then that is between you and your Creator at the Judgment seat of Christ.
But don't forget Mr Lecrae & you WILL be judged by the Bible, if you claim to be a Christian!

Here's evidence, Thousands are turning to Christ because of the influence Lecrae has in his music. He's putting ALL of his focus on God and Absolutely no self-glorification to be found. Thousands of bibles are being opened. People are starting to figure out what it's all about. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say thats not the devil doing that. teehe
BTW I never said anyone doesn't go to heaven for listening to UNGODLY music.
You go to HELL for rejecting Jesus Christ as your Saviour-but you will still have to give an account at the Judgment Seat of Christ after salvation-but then again Bible illiterates wouldn't have a clue what that is all about.

@drbible1611 i know this is an old comment and perhaps an old wound, but i want to know what you really believe. anyone can throw bible verses around to say anything...killing is okay, etc... how do you think we worship God? what things can we do that bring him pleasure? to judge someone and say that they aren't pleasing God with their lifestyle and then throw a bunch of verses in their face is wrong. consider the verse stating by their fruit you shall know them. does the lifestyle = good fruit?

Paul gives directions for SPIRITUAL not FLESHLY worship in Eph 5:19 & Col 3:16.
Give me one example from the Scriptures where a rock concert or any other concert for that matter was used for evangelism.
