Only problem I ever find with this game is the community. Often there's only one or two servers open at once. On top of that a few players are sore winners and sore losers. The game itself is great, however. The only thing that could possibly top what exists currently is either NPC soldiers or aircraft.

it was first designed for the bf engine and that also had 2 releases or something for that one and they later changed to the source engine.

and i encourage everyone to join in! it is a very good mod and there are a lot of nice people, so what are you waiting for and join! :)

Killerikke, I'm probably going to give this a download, could you tell me some good servers that you know of? And I see there's some usage of iron sights on the weapons, so is there a possibility of some Tactical Realism servers? Anyways, this mod looks like a blast and I'm going to be definately playing it.

the weapons either have iron sights or you can use the weapon as a melee weapon next to the iron sights.

the best choice would be to first go to the training server because it can be quite a complicated game and the people are more willing to help you than on other servers, also when you join that server please read the first bits of text that they have given it will help you a lot with the game ;)

There is one comander per team, he controlls the game from an RTS perspective. Everyone else on his team are actual players, the comander tells 'em what to do. A comander also chooses what Items to research for his team to use.

The only thing I find unbalanced as of 2.12 is the NF assault rifle, which does more dmg and is more accurate than the BE's rifle, other than that, a game can really go either way.

For any gamer who ever played C&C back in the day and thought 'Image if my soldiers were real people playing in FPS...'. More teamwork than TF2, OpFlash even. More RTS than Natural Selection. This game stopped me playing TF2 completely. Multiplayer Game Of The Year, no doubt. Pwns CoD4 too. I can't praise this mod enough! I'd buy it if it was retail. God, just download it for chris'sakes!
