  • I love your makeup in this video..your brow line is really accented well with that choice of color you used..Like the smoky effect in the crease also..you gave me an idea to try out!! Thanks!

  • beautiful......thankyou rir shating. i aways appreciate when people make these tutorials. every bit of info helps....by the way, your hsir looks very natural and pretty on you thankyou so much!

  • I have a question. How wud making baby hairs work with glueing on the lace front wig???I kno how to put one on but how do u leave out baby hair with the glue being on your edges???

  • @denise9183 Hi Denise, make sure all the hair is smooth back, including the hair at the edges. Make sure to hold the hairs down with clips or bobby pins before you apply it to the glue. The key is not to use "too" much glue. Some glues soak through the lace, causing the baby hairs to be glued down with the lace. I hope this helps, let me know if you need more help Thanks for watching my video! :)

  • Luv you video...your passion for beauty and helping others in their Beauty endeavors is clearly evident

  • @carmagirl13 Thanks so much:)

  • you really just helped me out lol , thanks for the tutorial !

  • thanks@ dezi 1016,wonderful tutorial you got here,i enjoyed it,pliz i just want to ask ifi can dye my frontlace, sounds lame but would be greatful for ua advice thanks

  • @mrsmwela No Beautiful, it doesn't sound lame, lots of women dye their lace fronts and lace wigs. I've never dyed a wig before. I do need to caution you, when you dye your wigs the lace takes on some of the dye. Your lace may not look as natural as it did before you dye it. when you dye your wig keep that in mind, okay.

Thanks so much for watching, I appreciate it. :)

  • Thank you. The video is very informative.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had a bad experience with a previous lace front and swore them off until I caught a really nice, natural looking wig on sale today. This video has been extremely helpful! : )

  • Hey Miss Devi. Im new to lace fronts, and I was wondering, have you ever heard of putting a bandAid on the front of your wig cap, to make the scalp look more natural? If so what brand do you recommend. Thanks

  • i never wanted to by lace fronts because they didnt have baby hair.. and the ones the do cost hundreds of dollars.. now i might buy a regular one :)

  • it still looks fake as hell!

  • @dyschickaqt ??....How do YOU know Hell Is Fake?

  • @Dezi1016 been there. and it was as ugly as ur wig. i hate lace front wigs with a fucking passion! they are the worst things to ever happen to black people.

  • @dyschickaqt Wow...."been there?".... I do understand that you don't like them.... and to a certain degree, I can see one saying they still fake, because they are. But I think one of the worst things to happen to black people is Aids, or Cancer, or maybe starvation. Can we at lease agree on one of those.

    Thanks for watching

  • @Dezi1016 nope. lace front wigs are. because u ppl dont know how to use it. it never looks natural. no ones hair line looks like that! if you cant get on Beyonce's level and get lace fronts that look similar to hers, then just dont get them at all. you look stupid and dumb.

  • @Dezi1016 love this Dezi. it's been of great help to me!

interesting that someone who "hates lace front wigs with a passion" takes the time to watch a video on one and even goes as far as to comment more than once on it... smh #just saying#

  • @dyschickaqt i think her page could of done without your rude comments. i went to your page, there was nothing productive there at all. I wish someone cared enough to teach your tail some manners.now go ahead and respond with your curse words and rude comebacks because i'm almost positive you could never prove your point with true intellect alone. Love ya Dezi1016, keep doing your thing!

  • @nikkiwilly1 i say productive things all the time. :) this is my version of constructive criticism. :) :) :)

  • @nikkiwilly1 Thanks you for your support! And thanks for watching my video.

  • @dyschickaqt

    Ignorance is bliss.

  • @Beltifi i do NOT understand how this is in any form of ignorance. please go look up the word ignorant. because, i am not stating a lack of knowledge of ANYTHING. i am stating how it looks to me. the end. so tell me, who exactly is the ignorant one, when apparently your dumass doesn't know the proper definition.

  • @dyschickaqt

You stated,"i hate lace front wigs with a fucking passion! they are the worst things to ever happen to black people." Ignorance is bliss. Maybe if you spend more than or an equal amount of time educating yourself than "internet thugging" you would think differently. It's my opinion, and I certain many would agree, that slavery, HIV/AIDS, or the disparaging gap in unemployment between African Americans and any other ethnic group is likely to be the worst. Check mate. Bliss.

  • @dyschickaqt

And....if your distaste for lace front wigs is so potent don't troll the internet searching for lace wig related media. Your probably an individual with deeply rooted self hatred, so you spend an immense amount of time degrading others to feel more important. Love yourself; everything will be okay.

  • @dyschickaqt

It's comforting to know that you took the time out of your busy schedule to reply through my page. Thank you. Hopefully the next time you respond it's something intelligible. Judging by your post, the paragraph structure, grammar, etc. I'm guessing you're ten, maybe twelve. Well, I really hope you heed my advice and practice confidence building. You're not a loss cause. Never allow anyone to persuade you otherwise. You're a winner, kid. Explore the dictionary, no more expletives.

  • @dyschickaqt

I'm flattered that you took the time out of your busy scheduled to respond via my channel. It's inspiring that you're capable of constructing a sentence without expletives. I told you could do it. Way to go, kid. Now on to more pressing issues...it has come to my attention that you..... how can I phrase this...are unable to understand complex words and/or phrases. Out of context? So sad...please get acquainted with the dictionary or the nearest thesaurus. I'm rooting for you, kid.

  • @dyschickaqt Is it an inconvenience that I respond exclusively through the video? You’re so insignificant that I refuse to give you the courtesy/reverence of responding through your page. Embarrassed? Improbable, however; I do find you interesting. It’s amusing, my very first tango with an internet hooligan. It’s obvious..the only ignorance that’s been displayed has been on your behalf. It’s poignant that you’re incapable of comprehending it; therefore, you’re not in the position to educate.

  • @dyschickaqt

Impact? Yes. You provided me with an opportunity to brush up on my sarcasm/ patronizing. Who would have thought that I would look forward to comments from an internet goon? It was fun, kid….truly extraordinary. For clarity sake, if it was so irrelevant, you would have never replied…ever. So, in closing, I’m ecstatic that I affected you, caused you to ponder, read, and helped you dream again. Cheers, kid.

  • @dyschickaqt

Wow…for an individual who doesn’t read my comments you sure do respond accordingly. My dear, such a sweet kid, taking the time out of your busy schedule to respond not once, but twice to the same comment. I would like to take this time to say, you’re welcome. It’s obvious that our interaction has had a profound effect on your speech…the lack of expletives….astonishing. Way to go, kid. You’re a winner.

  • very useful

  • i think that u shouldv'e cut the baby hairs shorter

  • @BABYPHAT8606 The "Baby" hairs are just an example of how-to trim the hair at the edge of the lace. This video is just an suggestion!!! Ultimately the individual can cut the hair as short as they want.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @Dezi1016 this is really natural lookin..wats the name of hair and the length..sorry if u said it bt my speaker r bad

  • Thanks for the information! I was always scared to cut babyhair because I didnt know how far I should go. The question I have is what do I do with my own babyhair when wearing lace wigs? Do I have to cut my own baby hair off so I can wear a lace wig and Im not really into glue, what other alternatives do I have?

  • @boothisheba You don't have to cut off your own baby hairs to wear a lace front wig, you can blend then down along with the baby hairs from your lace front. That's what I do! Also, I never use glues or tape. I use the combs inside the wig, and if necessary I will add a few bobby pins. Thanks so much for watching!!

  • Fantastic! A very informative and simple tutorial.

  • @marzipanthequeen Thanks so much for watching!! I appreciate it!!

  • @AnOceanRose Thanks so much for watching!!

  • Good Video! Question, I just bought some HH lace front wigs (Beautiful) but the lace is not invisible it's just a little lighter than my skin tone. What can I use to color or die the lace to the 1B hair color?

  • @CookingWithCarolyn Hi Carolyn, hope you don't mind me giving you this tip, i have hair near my temples that the wig won't hide & i don't want to shave the hair off so what i do is use black eyeshadow at the edge that way when i put the wig back on at a later time or the next day i won't have to worry about getting it just right cause a lil makeup remover will get it out where you don't want it ;)

  • Excellent tutorial Dez!!

  • i love your video! go to salonvoice. com and share your advice with black women who have questions about lacefronts.

  • Thanks, for those close-up shots, very helpful.

  • This is the best tutorial on how to make baby hairs/ wispy for lace front wigs I have watched thus far. I could really see and follow what you were doing. It seems really simple to create after seeing this video. The lace front you are wearing had a perfect blend with your skintone. I couldn't tell where the lace began. It looked like you were cutting your natural hair. Nice. Thanks for an easy and detail way to create baby hairs.
