doesnt that hurt?? i mean i know if something happens fast it doesnt hurt as badly as something slow but still the lips are sensitive...on a scale of 1-10 how badly does it hurt?

@ormade1 Honestly, they don't hurt at all, but it all depends on your tolerance. I've had my lips pierced 8 times total. I would say on a scale of 1-10 maybe a 2 or 3?

@mischevious3 How old are you? I talked my parents into letting me pierce my lips when I was 17. All I did was make a pros and cons list with the only con being they're not allowed in school, but I worked around that. :)

@amberlovely1 That's not me, that's my best friend. She's sixteen now. But she got her snake bites when she was fifteen. I go to a school that doesn't allow them. Every morning i flip up my septum and take out my snakebites. It's sucks.

@McSpazer Yeah, I was actually replying to another person. >< But I understand. I didn't have my septum in highschool, but most of my teachers didn't mind the lip rings. I just had to hide them from the principles. I just wore studs without the balls and pulled them back when one came near then just slipped it through. I got pretty good at it with a loop too. :)

hey. is ppl scared to do that alone by themselfs. i heard about a boy about 15 who tried to do it himself but the needle had some things that is not supposed to get in his body. so he had to get surgury. its true.
