I happen to dislike my chest hair but my brother likes his (I come from a hairy family). And it's alright to have a personal preference you know? Obviously if you think something is beautiful you will do anything to attain that image. So waxing is certainly worth it to the people who do it.
i dont know why people say the more you wax the thinner and less it grows, it doesnt... well maybe a tiny tiny tiny TINY TINY bit thinner but it doesnt stop growing.. ive been waxing my arms for a long time and within 2 weeks if i dont keep up they get the same.. and the chest is a different story, the chest and abs are ingrown hairs favorite places. wax those areas and your asking for some of the most worst pain you will ever feel there not to mention the scars they leave behind... not worth it

You see this kind of result after a few applications (that variates from one person to another). If you keep on waxing, body hair turns out being 'weaker', so to speak. BTW, I warn you: waxing hair that has been shaved in the first place hurts like hell. At least the first times. But it's worth doing it, even if hair will never disappear completely.

OMG. I have just had this done for Comic Relief RND.
It was painful - like hot stings, but the pain did not last. It is now 2 hours later and the burning has subsisded. My wife was well pleased - said she hated hairy chests and that mine looked like an old mat. Anyway, there it is. I did it. When it was over, the beautician (?!) said "Welcome to the world of ex waxing virgins: One more of us, one less of them".
