  • thats sweet man, not my type of playing for sure but it really caught me.....

  • that's coll....great....keep it up

  • @tsoegiarto thank you!

  • another hgreat video (as usual). but would like to see another drum solo of yours, or a video with a band.

  • @gurkenhamster thanks! i have videos on facebook of live things and other short things. i might make a solo video in the future sometime but i think playing with music is more interesting.

  • YEAH!! That's how you do it! Rock on!

  • @gerri303 thank you!

  • That was intense. I looooooved it. You were fast, and precise. Always in the detail & groove. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G :D

  • @ptitepoulettedu91 thanks!

  • siiiik bro

    that build up was dope

    keep it up man

  • @ukoolately thanks! yeah its fun to try and sneak in those fast bass drum notes within a groove, but still play musically and not get too "drummy"

  • bowed

  • @lucasathus happy you enjoyed it man :)

  • you're a genius

  • @joeyhoeyca haha glad you enjoy the playing man!

  • Dude, fucking amazing.

There is no other way to express how awesome you are.

  • @scruffistomato thanks man!

  • pleasepleasepleasepleaseeeeee make full covers!! can you record like the whole song and release that somewhere? then i guess cause for youtube you want them shorter, so you can just cut emmm?

  • @howycwap short works for the internet because people probably wouldn't watch me for a whole performance, in general. i mean you very kind people would but im not sure if most others would. also short lets me record many many tunes in a few hours and then have enough videos to release weekly for a large stretch of time. its not cheap putting together these shoots and all the time with editing ect. however i will record longer tunes next series around and release 1st and 3rd mondays each month

  • @drumgroovemusic excellent! but like. im saying you could even make this into an album if you recorded the full songs and did like 10 of them, id buy it, know what im saying?

  • its rare to see someone that you can tell just by watching how much they love to play. you're always smiling and you put so much passion into it. nice job my friend

  • @abbashabbalabba thanks! i love playing, really happy to hear that comes across so clearly in the video :)

  • its fair to say ure quite the musishion

  • @XxDRUMMERKIDxX96 thanks for your fair encouraging observation. : ) glad you enjoyed the video

  • you should cover six feet under by shary-an i did:)

  • @vmusiciscandy thanks for the suggestion. : )

  • You make Mondays a lot easier to handle :)

I'd really love to see more of your band videos too.

    :D

  • @1337P41N thanks! well we have an ep that will be up on itunes in a few weeks so you'll be able to check that out if you like the music.

  • Woaw amazing foot work, I didn't expect that :) Also your fills and rolls are very clean, do you practice rudiments every day ?

  • @Poulmy haha yeah the 32nd note type ideas are fun to use and create a different kind of feel. playing very slowly with a click track at 35pm and gradually speeding up when learning new ideas or working on fundamental hand/foot ideas creates clean execution and note placement for anyone. :) i didnt practise rudiments in general other than singles and doubles. i spend most of my time on layered groove concepts and some core linear odd phrasing patterns that i use as my own kind of "rudiments"

  • man now this is impressive :D i really like this cover man... great job

  • @MusicGuyKevin thanks kevin!

  • Absolutely love it!

  • @KingCooperProjects thank you!

  • that's what you need to do "Take a bow" cuz this is another great drum video

  • @zoinkpanooley haha thanks a lot!

  • Quick question, im sure you record all of the videos the same day, on account that it would be the most effective way to do it imo.. How long are you in that studio for??

  • @elrojomuerto6x yeah i do record in one day. this time around i was in the studio for quite a few hours. set up took awhile with drums and the mics and then all the camera stuff plus lighting. i think there was 3 hours of recording filmed which included breaks and listening back to tracks. most tracks were done in 2 takes, a third of them in 1 take and some random tunes took a bunch for whatever reason lol. like just changing the parts i wanted to play or making weird false starts or mistakes

  • great job!! your drumming skills never cease to amaze me...

  • @PianoMan53100 thank you! these are definitely fun grooves to play!

  • isn't it weird how you're more like a local celebrity based on the number of people that know about you (though it should be more) but the 'local' fanbase is all over the world? i dunno if anyone will understand what i mean, but never mind... great drumming as always

  • @j0gan673 haha i think i understand what you mean. nah i don't think its weird, im very grateful for the group of people who always come back to watch a new video and leave comments. its really nice to notice the same people taking the time often to have a look at something i've made. thats why i respond so often to hopefully every comment, it does have a lot of value to me that you guys check my stuff out. thanks!

  • your videos are always fantastic!!1

  • @riverbenddrummer thanks so much for coming back to watch the videos each week! that really does mean a lot to me :)

  • sounds just awesome. I like your style!

  • @mrts0 thanks!

  • you never cease to impress me. I love watching your videos!

  • @jonathanredford thanks a lot jonathan! glad you enjoyed the video :)

  • Waaahh!

    Immense job, as ever! :D
