  • Super Deutsche Qualität !

  • @BerlanGermany YES SIR!

  • I like those

  • Looks like you have the notched blade version. Is this an advantage over the straight blade? Will it ever fail to cut wires completely because of that gap in the blade?

  • @17171717 the notch is good for heavy stuff, cuts right through anything

  • I could use a pair of these for throttle cables like you said. I have a pair of small cable cutters but they are not really meant for steel cable.

  • I bought a pair on your recommendation. Ordered on line at sears and took forever to get them at local store. I do clock work and cut piano wire.

Also I have adjusted the valve rockers on my Honda twin ohv engine. I have had this engine on a mower for seven years. When I went to adjust them both cylinders were not out of adjustment. I guess Honda uses a better grade of push rods than Briggs.

  • @647762816 they are handy pliers

  • Those things are awesome I want some, but they're 40 odd pounds here in the UK which is a bit steep :[

  • anyone know how about to get warranty on these

  • @TDHReviews sears

  • just picked up a pair of them at sears for about $32 great pliers

  • Just got the diagonal cutter version. I'm a carpenter and will have no problem snipping nails with these. Thanks for recommending these!

  • @binnsh you're welcome

  • i looove your tool reccomendations! thanks so much. as an ameture mechanic and a mechanical engineer, i really like nice reliable tools. from the rest of your videos, i KNOW you know :)

  • i must get a pair , tidy wee pliers, how much in canadian dollars?? good vid don, any snow??.

  • @Liamautomechanic no snow, very odd for this part of canada

  • @donyboy73 seasons are off here too.very mild this last few days. any beer.??

  • cool tool thanks

  • aha!!! made in germany, huh? :D they are the daddy of engineering :)

  • thanks for sharing don. i might get these for my dad for christmas!

  • Also one more thing, Thanks for giving a great demo of them. Because cutting through a hardened deck screw like that is something worth note.

  • @MRSketch09 thanks for watching

  • Normally if you take care of your tools, they will take care of you and last a lifetime, depending on usage of course, lmao.

These mini bolt cutters look pretty useful. They fill in that needed gap between diagnal cutters and bolt cutters.

Going to put em on my purchase list.

  • I HAVE JUST ORDERED A PAIR

  • I saw some like this at sears these would really be handy for me.

  • I'm sold. My dad used to get so mad at me for using his good Klein angle cutters on throttle cables! I'll have to order him a pair as well now.

  • @marshelway007 you won't be disappointed and make sure to show them to your dad and tell him to be careful if he uses them, lol

  • Just ordered me a pair. Thanks dony

  • @backwoodsctryboy i need to get a pair of your pliers you showed a few weeks back

  • I want to know why you don't use safety glasses????

  • @nsmartello i should have

  • I have had one of those for years now and i must say that they have some real good quality cause as i said,i have had it for years and i have used and abused it but whatever i have "cut" it hasn´t broke.I don´t know how much you paid for that one but mine was pretty expensive tho but well worth the money.

  • Almost looks like your putting no pressure to cut that bolt in pieces. I am going to buy one. I need a set of big bolt cutters also.

  • @GarageCrazy I can tell you,it´s like a mini bolt cutter and cuts pretty thick stuffs if you want.An awesome tool i have had for years now ;)

  • yea that's germany where the good stuff comes from.... ;-)

  • wow, those work great! guess the germans still make good stuff. thanks for sharing

  • Gotta get this... You just don't know how much of my self has melted trying to cut screws with pliers over the years... Great video!

  • Thanks for the review.

  • germanes sure know how to make quality products

  • Thanks for sharing about that tool Donny. It's true there are times when you are trying to cut something a little bigger than normal and those cutters would come in really handy. I may be looking for some myself.

  • This T wrench has a long 25cm shaft and is flexible to a certain point. When you want to tighten up a bolt it stores the power you imply to it in the shaft and it isn't so hard on your hands. It really great. I bought nr.4 and nr. 5 and i never regretted it a second. They are around 8-10€ each and a great buy! If you want to compare the quality Dony, your T27 torx T "screwdriver"from Stihl is manufactured by Gedore Germany! I have the same one but mine has a blue handle. Great stuff! Take care!

  • I'm from germany and i don't want to brag about our stuff but i must say that we have great tool companies here. Popular manufacturers are:

Hazet Gedore Stahlwille for quality sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers....

Knipex for all sorts of pliers

I would like to buy a socket set from Snap On but they are ridiculously expensive over here.

As I'm a small chainsaw hobby mechanic myself i would like to recomend a tool to you Dony.

I have bought an Gedore T-shape allen wrench the last year.

  • @Liferacingengines thanks, actually i need to buy a T-wrench allen set, and allen wrench screwdriver set, can you recommend a good affordable set

  • @donyboy73 Search google for: Gedore 1500 ES-DT 42

I would recommend those to you. I don't know whether you can buy them in Canada but quality is really great! I only have bought Sizes 4 and 5 since they are the most common on chainsaws.

They have the flexible shaft like the ones I mentioned before but they also have a second head at the handle. A real nice feature. When you want all the set is cheaper than buying those seperately!

I never regretted buying Gedore tools!

  • @Liferacingengines thanks, cannot find them anywhere online in north america

  • @Liferacingengines

Yes, I agre with you....I also have a excelent opinion of German made hand tools. Try also beside off mentioned tools, Elora, Bacho ie. and have good expirience with Matador allen wrenches

  • I think I should get a pair! Nice video also.

  • Just bought a pair......37.00 shipped !

  • You need to make a video on ALL of your tools and go through the does and do not's when buying tools.

  • @DieselCrawler86 i'll try and make more vids on tools

  • Thanks for sharing I need a pair

  • You know the Germans make good stuff. Just ask Slap Chop guy!!

  • can it be used on metal carburetor limiters where the needles are recessed by the medal carb body? to cut around the recessed needles on the medal body of the carb of small power equipment

  • Very nice i'll have to get some

  • A cheap alternative is some surplus store barbed wire cutters... they work just as well.

  • Too bad they have a tapered edge on both sides, meaning that you can't cut flush. Dykes are great because of that feature, but sometimes it would be nice to have more mechanical advantage.

  • @spelunkerd They make a one sided pair also, like diagonal cutters, I have one on the way!

  • those are bad ass

  • Wow!, well worth buying,

Chomping through overlong cables/linkages and making your own links by using coat hanger wire or similar would be a breeze with that tool.

    Nice tool tip :-)

  • @zx8401ztv thanks for watching

  • Those seem pretty cool

  • There's nothing like having good tools to work with.

  • Knipex are great tools! I have several pair of pliers, including needlenose, flat needlenose, and several adjustable pliers, and they are all great. BTW, I am a home tinkerer, not a professional.

  • @mts0628 thanks for watching

  • @donyboy73 Always my pleasure!

  • Just saw they also make a similar angled diagonal cutters that's now on my list for Santa!

  • i bet thats nice for cutting clutch springs and stuff

  • Gotta get those!

  • cool

  • knipex are great quality tools

  • I got to get those to the new toolbox i got for my bithday :D

  • $40 at sears.

  • @jeepers2655 thanks, i'm sure the others will appreciate it

  • what was the price donny? wow did they cut good

  • @Bonfield2002 i paid $50 with shipping, but they cost more at a store

  • Thanks for the heads up! Not too late to add it to my Xmas list :)

  • great video, looking foward to more snowblower repairs this winter

  • @pivotboy63 thanks for watching, videos are being edited at this moment
