  • usally gas dissolves paint from any company

  • @rolexwant Yes it does, but I left gas on this paint for 2-5 minutes and it shrivled up to nothing after being on it for a year. I've left gas in rustoleum paint for over a half hour before and nothing happened to it.

  • hey how come i cont go to your channel?!?!?

  • @redneckrollercoast1 I made it private so a few people can't bother me, I'll make it public again here in a few days.

  • Wow. Now I know to never get that stuff! Haha I only use Rustoleum though.

  • @wheely132 Rustoleum is all I like to use lol

  • i personally have had good results with krylon, its my prefered brand. there new i think krylon dual is awesome. i painted my dads bush bar with it. although on that note it does scratch easily

  • 93 octane, some matches will get that paint off faster LOL. Yea, I never ever had luck with krylon except for some of the oil based gloss enamel in the can, non spray. Rustoleum has rarely let me down and that is oil based paint. :)

  • @More350Power HAHAHA on Monday I am going to try that, 89 octane 2 stroke gas and a match. And a video camera LOL

  • stupid crappy paint and ethanol gas!

  • @outdoorsman310 There needs to be lead in our gas not water! and crappy paint needs to get better lol

  • @1972FordF150 i dont wanna be breathing lead haha and it would destroy the cat in my car i think they sell that in mexico tho haha

  • @outdoorsman310 I wish cars were still made to run with leaded gas and didn't have all these electronics and crap on them haha

  • krylon+lighter=minature flamethrower

  • @SpiritsoftheWolf That's a good use for it LOL

  • talk about shitty

  • @Rarrin9378 Yeah haha

  • almost any spray paint will do that... the only way to get a chemically resistant paint finish is to get catalyzed (2 part) automotive type paint

  • @KrankieV2 Yeah, have you ever used that rust-oleum gloss protective enamel stuff before and had gas spill on it? I used that and a clear coat on my other mower and it seems tough and pretty scratch resistant.

  • @1972FordF150 my toyota wheels liked it :)

  • @1972FordF150 the clear coat is the reason it's more durable

  • Krylon is bad? I remember being a kid and Johnny Bench painted Johnny Bench's bench with Krylon and said "No runs, no drips no errors." I thought that meant it was a good product. lol

I'm a Plasti-kote fan myself when it comes to paint.

  • @philldholes Well, for stuff like this it is. I suppose for small hobby stuff it's fine. But not stuff where gas, oil and dirt comes in LOL.

  • get it sand blasted and powder coated, petrol wont have an effect then :-)

  • @zx8401ztv I'm just going to use good paint and a gas resistant clear coat, it's what I did with my other mower and so far so good it's holding good.

  • Krylon is really only supposed to be used on indoor or outdoor "hobby" type metals. Metal benches, shepards hooks, etc.. Its more of a hobbiest type paint, not outdoor power equipment applications...LOL!

  • @mbyr31 I wish I would have heard that before LOL
