He play so bad it's not even worth watching for instructional purposes, even if he does it on purse its just too much to be relevant to real duel... Honestly who blinks after stun ends or is like 1s to end... And afaik in wotlk mages would instantly counter your vanish with petnova. I feel like this whole lower level of gameplay from mage was very unnecessary because it prevents video from being any realistic = trustful and reliable...

@Raxxer1993 It's not that this video is useless because you claim mages are unbeatable as a rogue, it's because the game has changed. This is level 80, not 85. And yes, mages can be beaten without a pillar at 85, you probably aren't using your cooldowns versus him correctly. A Mage can mess up a lot and still win, a rogue cannot. But hey, it's a freaking rogue, you're an "assassin." Assassins don't get a chance to mess up. Just think of it as "Mission Impossible." If you screw up, you lose.

But just try and adapt with the changes, this video back when it was up to date was in my opinion the downfall of all mages now you just have to adapt this style to gameplay now. sap --> garrote (silence) --> 2* mutliate --> bleeding(sry im german) --> nova--> cloke--> sprint --> deep freeze --> insi --> nova --> vanish --> garrote --> mutilate ect... down ^^ and kidney shot just if the mage uses blink before.

great job and nice tutorial, but usually mages dont play like this mage in the vid, and from my experience specially against mages Subtlety will always own them...stack bleeds on mage and let him die like a bitch, Garrote, Hemmorage and Rupture then vanish usually they will be forced to Ice Block...i killed some mages like that, but usually frost mages own rogues

I get that the mage was playing like noob, but it's still pain to see mage being pwned like little girl :P

In fact, rogue without CloS and without stealth is one of the easiest class to beat. He doesn't have charge or ranged stun/interrupt except Blind or DT (does it still interrupt?) But subtlety rogues are a pain. ShS/ShD is more than enough to camp on mage most of the time.

Polymorph, evocate, reshield, poly if needed, get away, frostbolt and full burst while his Vanish/Prep/CloS are on cd.

nice vid. but cant really agree with u. i play rogue and mage so know both classes. the way i always use to beat rogues is: rogue open with garrote, i start run, while waiting for him to break shield, when it breaks he get nova. i deep freeze ( to force trinket ) and cast poly x2 straight away. many rogues fail allready there to use trinket. then i have allrdy won :) if he dont trinket i will FFB so if he wanna vanish he have to use cloak, meanns when they open i will take em easy
