This scene is especially staggering.and at the same time beautiful. It's mentioned in an IMDB user review as follows: "There are a few very powerful scenes in the movie. Alma emotionally examining what was left by her husband in her carefully kept vault and dreaming about the past when she was still wearing the ring given by her husband and routinely serving him a bowl of water with a plum every morning when he was praying...".
One of the greatest movie I have ever seen but it certainly needs a special affinity for slow "art films". To better understand the scene one sholud know that Alma's husband has been killed (as a civilian, not a soldier) in the Bosnian war.
@Gega151 Sorry! As I recall it I got here from a website where the text said it's the actual trailer of the film. My bad. But still unbleiveably boreing.
If you prefer American movies you will be able see this actress in the main role of Angelina Jolie's first film. Hopefully you will like that better. Make a google serch (Angelina Jolie Casts Zana Marjanovic in Her Directorial Debut). She has been chosen for the role at the end of this September.
@Gega151 I'll check that out! As for the scene It's definietly too long for my taste (yep, because I'm in screenwriteing, I prefer american films), and seemingly nothing happens. But of course it's a scene that means nothing itself without the previous ones.
I was in Sarajevo in 2008, and the showings of this film were immediately sold out, so I did not have the chance to see the film, it frankly was the film I wanted the most to see This little clip shows me that I must lay hands on it one way or the other and see it, because it obviously is a beautiful film. I saw Aida Begic around at the festival, also on FTV and BHT1.
This has been flagged as spam show

@4kuj1n It's not the trailer. Go and look for it here on youtube. It is just one scene of a nice and very good film.

She seems a very nice young lady.
