The music industry in general is fucked up these days. Look at who has held the #1 spot with Billboard in the past. The Beatles, Elton John, Ray Charles, Michael Jackson. Today, July 31st, 2011, the #1 spot on Billboard is held by LMFAO. John Lennon would have ended up shooting himself if he would have seen the shit that passes for music these days.

I miss the days of music when we had a 24-hour TV channel dedicated to music videos and we had a new Artist/Band every week.

Even if he's the CEO, he could get in trouble with the Board of Directors by sacrificing 5% of the Profits to provide 10 times better service.
