  • perfect for my revision , yes <3

  • There is good music out there. It's often right in front of your face.

  • What is that metal object called again?

  • @dominoes37 I think it's called a tuning fork. I'm not sure either, though.

  • Oh, this is lovely! Wonderful <3

  • So wonderful...

  • 3:21 is what i hear whenever im in love

  • Oh this is gorgeous...I play the flute and would love to play this as a solo at a festival.

    P.S. The Harp is amazing!!!

  • T_T

  • Just beautiful.......!

  • this is an Angel's Concerto!, it's as if Mozart were comming back to life by means of this BEAUTIFUL CONCERTO!

  • Antmenah wrote,

Mozart is the configuration of magic sounds into a child flying in the air through lands and heavens

  • It's amazing that Mozart could write this beautiful piece so superbly -- considering he hated writing for both flute and harp. :)

  • @AndyJB2005 he must have been in love

  • Beautiful!

  • Classical music cleanses the soul and clears our minds . It's refreshing. This is what good music really is...:-))

  • My algebra teacher played this overtime my class and I took a quiz/test. The song helped me concentrate a lot. :)

  • MOZART <3 (L)

  • Seems a lil sped up

  • what is the tool in the picture use for?

  • @Flame0213 it is called a tuning fork. Striking it against a surface or with an object, it emits a pure musical tone that is used to tune musical instruments.

  • @neverlandfw Thankyou i didnt know that hehe. :~)

  • This is one of the greatest pieces i've ever heard!

  • WONDERFUL. THANK YOU

  • Amazing......

  • Simply WONDERFUL!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful melody and peaceful wandering sounds. J Nolte 01 you may have heard this theme run through the film "Love Actually", Not a bad piece to borrow from is it?

  • Ever since i heard this in the movie "Amadeus", i have been in love with it. What genius, what music, what notes, what feeling, and what harmony, melody and rhythm. What a great tragedy to lose him in such an early age. If only Mozart had to live to enjoy this appreciation which he deserved so much. May your soul, rest in peace, Herr Mozart.

  • I feel like this was in a recent movie, especially the part around 58 seconds to 1:06 minute. Maybe the notebook? I can't figure it out, anyone know?

  • how great were they who created this enchantment

I wish I could see how was it before during their times

  • so pastoral and almost enchanting.

  • I must agree with "I Set Violins On Fire"

Music is a personal taste, Listen to the sound of the music and let it tell you its story. There is no right and wrong to this, Just enjoy the story it tells you and remain

open to its enlightenment. Join in the celebration that is music and the humanity it conveys.

  • Really, guys? Who cares about pop music versus classical? This WAS pop music at a time. No one is forcing you to listen to anything, and you're obviously enjoying classical music at the moment. As a variation of Mark Twain: a classic is something people praise but don't listen to. So shut up and listen. :)

  • @ISetViolinsOnFire This music was NEVER "pop". In the XVIIIth century only a few people could afford to attend orchestral concerts. This music is truly marvelous, but was restricted to of a very small group of privileged people. "Popular" music was mostly what we call now folk music.

  • @dion82 I know what you're saying, but I didn't mean that classical was "popular" in the sense that a large number of people had access to it. More that it was fashionable and "in style" to keep up with Mozart's pieces and go to Gluck's new opera, the way people do with pop music today. That's the only comparison I was trying to draw...but anyway, that's beside the point. Let us just listen to this--as you said--truly marvelous music. :)

  • gorgeous**

    :)

  • Sorry I misrated - I love your comment! :)

  • this is so gorgouse....<< if i had the ability to spell tht right, my comment wud've probably explained exactly how i feel about this.. x}

  • If only he lived few more years.

  • Although classical music is definitely one of my favorite things to listen to, (im on my brothers account so i don't want to hear about the username) I diagree on your standpoint on pop. When mozart was composing, this was pop. Pop is just a word for popular music, or music in fashion. Yes, Mozart is a musical genius and his work will endure for generations to come, but do not dismiss pop as irrelevant and meaningless, since it may very well one day hold the same weight as classical music.

  • Today's music is nothing... Immature or simple lyrics with the same electronnic beat repeating every 8 seconds. Every new songs on the radio are actually the same old songs.

With classical music, you can listen a song over and over again and the experience will be always different. That's what a musical genius can create.

  • @tirouge0 search Aphex Twin on youtube. Not all electronica is the same. Good music is never served to you on a plate, you must always search for it to find it.

  • An angel whispered in Wolfgang's ear.

  • I love that idea.

    :)

  • Or he just knew how harmony worked.

  • @irenicflutist

    Angelic inspiration + knowledge of

    harmony.

  • @irenicflutist BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, nice one

  • Very good :D

  • sehr schön.

  • Pop music is a little child enjoying 15 minutes of fame, whereas classical music is a mature full grown and endured human, enjoying eternal fame.

  • Classical music sounds through the ages. It is the work of true geniuses. Pop music is the type of moronic sounds that those less developed of our species like to hear.

  • This version seems rushed and mechanical

  • is this really in C? i thought it was F.... well, nevermind, as long as this mozart piece is relaxing.... :D

  • whats that big two prong thing?

  • It's an instrument that makes a specific tone when struck.

    Used to tune instruments.

  • like a tuning fork?

  • Exactly...

Didn't know the english word for it.

  • Not like a tuning fork, it IS a tuning fork.

  • A tuning fork...

  • lol

  • a tuning fork

  • Why can't everyone just shut the hell up and appreciate good music?

This is where the crap thats played today comes from, and we owe all of our respect to it.

Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, they were all musical pioneers. Pure genius, if you ask me.

So, please, take your immature comments and bullshit to a fall out boy video or something.

  • @kaykay323 ehy man, just step off the pedestal!!what the fuck are you? a music genius? you better shut the fuck up, you asshole motherfucker!

  • @kaykay323 ehy asshole motherfucker step off the pedestal! and no, i do not ask you a damn!so, just keep your stupid opinions!

  • @kaykay323 Shut your dirty mouse and just listen the beautiful music if you can.

  • @kaykay323 What about Haydn!?!

  • @kylelandry explain your remarks, dear kylelandry

  • @kaykay323 here here, well said ;)

  • @kaykay323 back then, Bach's music was considered old fashioned.

  • To all people who make arguements, those esspically comparing apples and oranges, on youtube. there is a reason why there are multple types of music and movies and etc, its because they want to appeal to diffrent audiences. you dont have to like it but why trash talk it. other people like this type of music. yes i know its about feedback and what not but if you dont like it there are others who do. so dont start a sprawl if you belive this post it on some other videos to spread the word/

  • Classical Music, FTW ';.;'

  • wheres lil wayne at????????? lol just kiddin

  • omg looooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • lil wayne sucks....i love classical music and rock...i know im weird

  • no one cares

  • if no one cares then why did i get thumbs up? hmm answer that one

  • atleast i think good about myself

  • so sad when you put thumbs down on your own opponent...

  • oh this is just gorgeous.

  • I used to listen to rock and indie things, but I didn't like the whole atmosphere. The music is great, of course, but these days, I don't want to do what everybody does. So I decided to go appreciate classical music, and I really liked it so far. And it's a huge plus that none of my classmates would be caught dead listening to it. (:

  • @CreatingControversy if you start listening to one genre of music you have to ignore the rest? I listen to all kinds of music, that doesn`t mean I do what everybody does. Each and everyone of us it`s unique but in the same time we are all the same. Don`t deny rock and indie just because you decided this one day. Listen what your soul tells you to listen. Be in peace with yourself.

  • @CreatingControversy So... Basically, you're a poser.

  • @YaiBugy its just music not a religion. let him appreciate it any way he wants.

  • @CreatingControversy The fact that you want to be different from others makes you very attractive, which explains the number of thumbs up you've received.

Wish you all the best in life.

  • I find this type of music to be so relaxing, the utter warmth and calming nature of these pieces are so wonderful. I am new to classical music, but hope to become a avid listener to all classical pieces of music; this is excellent for reading or writing, which I'm trying to do as much as possible these days. Cheers

  • So soothing....

  • Wonderful music and great to help you edit photographs in photoshop.

  • i miss playing the flute.................

  • I feel kind of nerdy that I'm listening to this while writing about the Hotchkiss-McManus Periodic-Acid Schiff Reaction for fungus on my computer. ;)

  • haha! i feel ya, mysteryblack. this music has gotten me through many a cram session. hell, right now i'm reading about how to release a scene back to the owner after a rescue incident has taken place there...fire department stuff :-0. perfect music for learning about good old fashioned blood, gore and chaos. (staring dreamily into the distance with a deeply gratifying sigh)

  • Haha, I'm with both of you! Currently reading all about critical literacy in the classroom for my education degree ;)

  • having fun? :D lol

  • what lovely music...

  • Beautiful! This is truly ingenious!

  • Whatever the movement is, this is close to heavenly

    thanks

  • Thanks fro posting, this is the 2nd movement by the way

  • If the story is true that Mozart was not very fond of either the harp or the flute and wrote this work in response to a commission, for a father and daughter to play the two solo instruments, then it shows what a competent and conscientious musician indeed he was. The melodies throughout are very lovely.

  • yes...he disliked the flute in particular. but the stuff the man wrote for flute are none-short of perfection.

  • This only can come from HEAVEN!

    Thanks for the post.
