Actually this was not his last performance. I think this performance was April 20th 2002, and he did perform at a democratic party fundraiser in Harlem, NY on april 25th. He performed Dangerous, Black or White and finished with Heal The World.. Never been able to find any video footage of that performance though (exept the first half of Dangerous which is much like this one), only photos...

Hey all, I'm a dieheart MJ Fan& I'm in medical field. Getting treatment for someone on drugs is not as cut & dry as you all think. Even a week before MJ died Joe Jackson went to the LA Police for help & Vegas Police & discussed a court order with a judge. Nothing he did gave him any immediate answer. He did try to talk to security and AEG Folks. MJJ denied any drug use; prior to dr.Murray coming he had gone through detoxic so eveeryone was surprised when Prince told Joe something was wrong.

He was out of breath. Dancing and singing at the same time is no walk in the park. I guess that's why he usually lip syncs. It really is hard to do both.

I totally agree he is and will always be the best! WOW, What a sexy, sweet,&humble man; there is nothing that any one can say or do will make me change what I have felt for him since day one&forever. I'm angry that we his true fan always knew how sexy, handsome, &wonderful he was from the first day until the day he died but no one else close to him was giving him the unconditional total love&acceptance he needed or telling him how great he was as a man not just a performer.

i love michael but am i the only one that thinks he looks heavyset, for michael, I mean? He was always really thin, but here he actually looks bloated. If you look at the pcitures backstage and the rehearsal pics you can see how heavy he is. Im glad he got thinner. :) i love you him.

MJJ's true fans never let him down; A group of friends and my family formd the protect MJJ Club and we never believed anything that they ever said about him. We wrote him letters, Sony, newspapers, and feriously supported him during and after the court case. You see MJJ was a part of our family and we NEVER let him part. There are millions, upon millions of fans like me all over the country and the world who felt like this about MJJ.

Quite right you are. Us true fans will never let him part from us. He meant that much to us. He was like one of the family. We all listened to his music, and danced his moves, He was such an inspiration in our lives that the WWJD slogan thats out, we used to say WWMJD..lol He was such a humanitarian and cared about the world, and the people and children in it. We all tried to live our life like that. supporting his cause, and spreading his message.

He was 43 years old during this performance and to tell me that drugs took such control over him since then just boggles my mind. If everyone including friends and family would of intervened and put him in rehab he could of done the "This Is It" concert, but due to noone giving a crap he was enabled to continue to use drugs and assisted in his ultimate demise. May all that ignored his addiction and did not offer assistance be haunted for a long time to come. He was taken from us way to soon.

Hey all, I'm a dieheart MJ Fan& I'm in medical field. Getting treatment for someone on drugs is not as cut & dry as you all think. Even a week before MJ died Joe Jackson went to the LA Police for help & Vegas Police & discussed a court order with a judge. Nothing he did gave him any immediate answer. He did try to talk to security and AEG Folks. MJJ denied any drug use; prior to dr.Murray coming he had gone through detoxic so eveeryone was surprised when Prince told Joe something was wrong.

awwa did he mess up at 5:24 for a little bit? the leg part? or maybe he was supposed to be opposite idk haha. but it still amazes me that everytime i think "is he lip syncing?" and everytime i know the answer is no. point being: his voice is so perfect and flawless, which makes it seem like he could be (many people do these days..) but wow the vocals on that guy are unbelievable. there will never be anyone else like him.

This is really random, but I love how when Michael hugs people (strangers, fans, friends, etc) he gives REAL hugs. I am not a hugger and I hate when I do hug someone and they hardly make contact - its like why bother? But he was a hugger! He didn't always linger but the contact was real, sincere.

I watched a video of one of the 'this is it' dancers saying he would just turn up to rehearsals and dance the whole routine with no practice.... he was that good!
