Socom 1 & 2 were good. Than progressively got worse and worse. Zipper was only good at making the games the first two Socoms. After that, they really messed up by thinking that in order to make a better, they have to change everything in the game.

I also don't think MAG will be that great. It'll probably be loaded with bugs and lag. Zipper couldn't even make 32 player games in SOCOM 3 lag free, how are they going to do 256 with the ps3?

But I do hope that I'm wrong and Zipper surprises me.

I have heard that the one of the only reasons some ppl bought Socom Confrontation was simply because of the headset. Warhawk (non greatest hits edition) also has a headset and its an overall better multiplayer game IMO.
