Not bad! The drummer did the best he could on that performance. He just lacks the natural rythm that it takes to play that particular style of music. Go-Go music was created in Washington DC and it is very difficult to duplicate that rythm if you have not been trained in it or have been around it for many years. Even accomplished drummers have trouble with it. Not impossible...just very difficult. Great job none the less.

The sound was taken and not a single Go Go musician on stage. But yes, Go Go was the backdrop of this hit. The 12 inch single is Go-Go-fied!!!!

Not bad! The drummer did the best he could on that performance. He just lacks the natural rythm that it takes to play that particular style of music. Go-Go music was created in Washington DC and it is very difficult to duplicate that rythm if you have not been trained in it or have been around it for many years. Even accomplished drummers have trouble with it. Not impossible...just very difficult. Great job none the less.

There were a number of Go-Go musicians from EU (Experience Unlimited inlcuding Ju-Ju House, drummer ) on the original recording. As you can see, thievery at its finest. The sound was taken and not a single Go Go musician on stage. But yes, Go Go was the backdrop of this hit. The 12 inch single is Go-Go-fied!!!!

That's why this sounds sloppy in compairison to the origional because they lack the rythm that it takes to duplicate Go-Go music. Love you for that comment!

A story for Lib-
I remember many years ago,I was out at the local dance club,and this lovely lady who I was treating as "just a friend",came up to me at closing time(4 AM) and asked if I wanted to go to her apartment.
Well,being on some real nice acid,and wide awake,I jumped at the chance.
