Can't get KDE latest 4.7 working on Windows 7 64-bit bug free no matter if I try the VC or MingW type, Starting Dolphin gives me something about dbus .services files and klauncher not responding. I'm gonna bet it has to do with false settings in some file somewhere. But can't tell which one or what to change it to. But did see one file set for User=root which I'd say is not default on Windows at all. :p
@KirbyPwnz13 no :P I want it on windows cause I had kubuntu and it fucked op for the second time today :( ( ok prob my own fault but still anoyin :P ) ( yes ik my language is crap -.- )
@ReggaeFighter i guess the Linux look and feel, the features it comes with. like a facebook widget that runs on the desktop, giving you the ability to flick through facebook quickly
Hi! I have built kde 4.3.2 and kde 4.3.3 in windows 7 but when I run plasma-desktop.exe I get just 1 panel and no desktop. How did you manage to get the desktop working?

I installed every package in the Kde installation
and copyed a shortcut of plasma-desktop.exe to the startup folder.
while logging in there is a slight delay but everything pops up
try uninstalling kde 4.3.2 and reinstalling with every package
if you get it up and running with 4.3.3 upload a video
**i had trouble installing new widgets but apart from that it runs pretty well**
