i admired the interpretation, the contrast between the original where the girl is watching from afar vs. this version where implicitly he's also aware was a nice east-west study imho!

i also thought after the english version the japanese stanza sounded like totally different music... it kind of made me aware that there was something inherently different about japanese and western expression in song.
