@victorias73 The guy had cauliflower ear. A lot of wrestlers get it, the ear fills up with blood and other fluid in a swelled up little pocket. You usually get the fluid drained after periods of time. Kimbo hit his ear and ruptured it. If you look, his left ear is already swollen up before the punch.

I've been an amateur fighter/mma fan for a long time and by no stretch is kimbo a good boxer, james thompson is a complete can, he's lost most of his recent fights against c level competition. Kimbo's boxing is horrible by technical standards and doesn't have power, he has only put away exhausted low tier fighters, with that being said, he does seem like a really nice/good person, just too old to really go anywhere in mma, atleast he made some good money, he can kick back now.

I fully agree I have boxed for 13 years now and these guys have the terrible defense againt incoming punches. I can see that theyhave a basic understanding of ow to throw a pucn and somewhat of an idea where power comes from. but they mostly just swing until someone lands. and when he lands he doesn't know whow he got there or how he set it up. and of course the other guys doesn't know how parry, duck, or slip a punch in the first place. but this isn't boxing its UFC they can get away with it.
