Sorry to mention this, Water is a poor conductor of electricity. The places where there is a warning of electricity + water is where there is a lot of electricity.
Here's a funny fate for a villain, Yzma from "The Emperor's New Groove". She does not die, despite a lot of physical injury occurences, but rather, due to one of her elixors, (I can't think of another term), turns into a small, gray cat.
Here's another, Shere Kanh from Jungle Books 1 and 2. He doesn't die in the first, which I didn't entirely see, but he sort of does in the sequel when he's trying to capture Mowgli and his human friend Shanti. When he clears, (or jumps over), a large gap that Mowgli and Shanti cleared seconds earlier, he lands on the jaw of a temple facial structure that slowly falls off the one side. Mowgli and Shanti make it, but Shere gets trapped in the jaw of the statue and gets laughed at by a vulture.
Also, you could have added Cruella De Vil from "101 Dalmations", and I mean the animated one. Odd thing about her name, which describes her personality, is if you rearrange the letters, it spells out, "a Cruel Devil" with and extra "L".
You ought to do more of these, but include more villains, like Nuka and Zira from Lion King 2. Also, Jafar does technically die in Aladdin 2:Return of Jafar, since Iago, who at first claims to be good, but then betrays Al, pushes Jafar's lamp into what I recall was lava, destroying the lamp and disposing of Jafar.
Seriously, why is Frolo #10? Apart from his final moment of insanity and the gargoyle crushing him, he fell into what, if I'm not mistaken, is molten steel. Now THAT is how a villain should die.
Okay, this is my new favorite video on youtube!!! Also, Awesome name by the way, one if my sisters name is Lindsay, SPELLE AY!!!! You also remind me of a friend of mine.
Fortunately jet engines aren't designed to suck people up, so Syndrome probably survived getting sucked into the engine with only a few missing limbs and no face or scalp. On the down side he then fell hundreds or thousands of feet to his death as a bloody pulp.
What? Where was the villain from The Black Cauldron? He was skinned alive, similar to Oogie Boogie, but his was even more gruesomely done, as he somewhat resembled a human instead of an overblown potato sack.
I think I love you. Also you said hyenas aren't hunters that's not 100% accurate, while primarily scavengers they are quite adept hunters. Sorry my inner nature geek had to tell you that.
Good list, but have to correct you on one thing. Oogie's death is not the only one seen. You pretty much see mufassa's entire death. And mufassa's was more meaningful in my opinion.
I almost got upset with you for not putting Rasputin from Anastasia in there, but that's not a Disney. Still, it was a pretty gruesome death nonetheless. Awesome vid!
um captin hook didnt die not even in the book he appears in the sequal to peter pan and in the book he managed to escape the crocodile (im not trying to be rude or upset you i just wanted you to know)
This was an awesome review! You so funny! Also good use of description and I enjoy your deadpan snarker outlook at some of the deaths. The Gilbert Gottfried one was priceless XD
Also I love how you described Frollo's death as being spooky! Oh and he fell in molten lead.
What the hell uses all the magic powers when the heart is speared?! Or other: "All good things must come to an end": The Good have to triumph the Evil, haven´t it? ;-P
I think someone is taking a page from the NCritic and NChick here. huh? But sadly, this doesn't do it justice and it's becoming a freaking, repedative thing now that's all it is now is EVERYONE'S OPINION!!!! Unlike the later mentioned names, they actually did (not only first) but well thought out in terms of this subject. Which is always been to take down the Disney corporation and with utter irony with their own villians!
@KaguraFan246 Yea, none of us did until later in our lives or now, but it was because of the shadows, I didn't realize it till I was 16 or 15. ;) But YEA GRUESOME, that was OLD style disney, YEA the VIOLENCE was gruesome :p :(.
#4 and #3 were in my opinion, the worst ways to go, because you see your death, and you can't stop it.
screw being eaten alive, you have a chance or two to try something! Scar had a chance to try and run away, Sykes got hit by the New York subway and Syndrome, a jet engine.
6:21 - Granted the rest of the video was very interesting; you're not much of an anthropologist. Contrary to what Disney would like you to believe, Hyenas are the true Queens of the Savannah (in hyena society the women run the show). With a 33% success rate, hyenas are literally twice the hunters their overblown feline competitors are at a paltry 15%. Also, the 'King of the Beasts' is the true scavenger, roaming male lions can't hunt and relies almost exclusively on scavenging from hyena kills.
If only Pixar was included in this. Hopper's death in Bug's life was particularly bad. Nothing like having your villain paralyzed, then slowly lowered to his death while screaming the whole time!
for your information, Maleficent died because the sword was enchanted by mary sue fairies cuz disney is full of idiots who don't like badass villains winning
Actually all the fairytales these things originated from are grusome. Disney rewrote these stories. At least most of them anyway. The original sleeping Beauty (which is a book) has her being rapped by her prince charming and being a slave in arabia...
@Raina111111 No that's the bdsm version Anne Rice wrote under the pseudonym of A. N. Roquelaure ( Sleeping Beauty Triology). But yes, most of the fairytales which the brothers Grimm originally collected are gruesome. ;)
You know what's funny? Everytime I think about "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and how Oogie Boogie is number one and I never thought of Oogie Boogie's death like that and I watched that movie when I was EIGHT YEARS OLD and here I am still loving and watching "The Nightmare Before Christmas".
I'll be honest: From what I saw, "The Hunchback of Notredamn" seems to be one of the most HARDCORE films Disney EVER MADE! I mean, the suggestive themes that appears on the movie, disturbing scenes, no wonder so many people got scared from it! Now that I've looked at the other endings, I think that MOST of the kids movies of Disney hides very violent ideas, shame on them. =/
wow, I never thought of Oggie Boogie's death like that. I never thought of him being skinned alive. Or must of this stuff for that matter, but this was a really great video!!
Then Jafar comes back, and then dies in a magical technocolor-ish implosion-tornado-explosion. All with him being struck by lightning, getting paralyzed and going apeshit, while his lamp leaks this putrid green and purple liquid.
Eric may have been a bit of a Gary Stu, but I for one am grateful for the his contribution to the "Hall of Disney Royals that Actually Get Up and Do Stuff." Go Eric!
When I saw that the number one video was "The Nightmare Before Christmas" my eyes just widened up.
I LOVE "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and out of ALL Disney Villans, Oogie Boogie is my favorite because he lives in Halloween Town (an awesome Town) and that he's just awesome in his villianess ways that he can be. xD
@JasdaAngel Indeed. (SPOILERS) Aladdin confronts Jafar in a lava pit and everyone plays a game of Monkey in the Middle with his lamp. Aladdin throws the lamp but it lands in a lava pit and kills Jafar. I forgot if it was intentional or not, but either way, the good guys were pleased with the results.
I always thought that the gargoyle coming to life and the fall into a molten pit represented Follo's decent into Hell, which is slightly more terrifying.
You forgot Hades who didn't die but was dragged to the bottom of the lake of souls. Also, Jafar does die in the second Aladdin movie, Return of Jafar, when Iago kicks the lamp into the lava.
The fact about Hyenas chomping bones is true, but they are not scavengers. They regularly hunt their own prey, and actually have a better success rate at catching game than lions do.
so many disney deaths are freaky when you think about them! Alot of them were like dragged into hell! Like in All Dogs go to Heaven 2, The Princess and the Frog, Hunchback of Notredom, it's freaky!!!
I think you should have included Rourke from Atlantis, who turned into a molten crystal monster with glowing, pupil-less eyes and then was broken into many tiny fragments after being caught in the propellers of a hot air balloon. Or his sidekick Helga Sinclair, who fell from a terrible height but did not die immediately, so either died of internal bleeding or by being consumed by lava from a volcano.
OMG a hot girl talking about the evil doers -3 so tired of princess this princess that. Good job on the choices =] and Heck to the yes on creature feature as an ending. Got to see them live a few time! =D
granted, John Lassester became an animator because of classic disney inspiration, and even worked for disney before being axed because he was ahead of his time, but Pixar really is a separate creature from Disney. (as you can tell, I'm a little passionate about the matter)
Regardless, it was a fun video. Thanks for the entertainment.
While entertaining (and shocking to realize that Nightmare was released by Disney) just a couple notes-some of these aren't really Disney. Couple of these are Pixar:Up,Toy Story, and The Incredilbes. You can make the arguement, but after really looking into it, I'm actually of the opinion that it was more like Pixar took over Disney than Disney took over Pixar. Regardless, the fact remains that all Disney does for Pixar, even now, is advertising and distribution. Granted,
I love how original you are in your reviews. I mean, you're nothing like the NOSTALGIA CRITIC at all! (Please be sure to read that with the heaviest amount of sarcasm as possible). This review is lame, you try so hard to be funny and you're not, and the order of deaths should be changed immensely.
Nostalgia Critic ripoff...

@PhantomxEmma
Meh, in All Dogs go to Heaven hell is already Red's domain so its not that bad for him. Carface on the other hand.......

@PhantomxEmma I would love to point out that All Dogs Go to Heaven is not Disney.

I disagree completely. WHY is getting hit by a train or getting eaten by hyenas WORSE than being DRAGGED INTO HELL???

granted, John Lassester became an animator because of classic disney inspiration, and even worked for disney before being axed because he was ahead of his time, but Pixar really is a separate creature from Disney.
