  • These must be real, the fact that someone took the time to make this video makes theis craft all the more real, somwhere in the usa these craft are hidden in top secret facilitys laying in rest till we can fully perfect these machines. one day we will see these beast. one day.....

  • "the global war on terror" , the neocons' excuse to create a new enemy to scare television- and religion- indoctrinated consumption addicts after the Commies' collaps and to run the US into TWO (2!!!) bloody , useless wars for oil and minerals and a financial abyss

Bell profitted from Vietnam and now from Iraq and Afghanistan , GO FUCK YOURSELVES AND THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX WITH YOUR "QTR" , I hope that big thing tears your ASS

  • @superwout You do realise that the companies getting to the Oil in Iraq are Chinese mostly right? Well there goes that one.

And no one is getting anything from afghainistan........so that one too.

And we got into Vietnam because of a democrat named kennedy. And we did so because communist backed rebelion against Vienamese and French allies right?

    ----------------------------

Of course you could explain how Obama the Un Neo-con got us into more wars world wide than Bush and those Neo-cons...

  • @valcan321 not worthy of a reply

  • @superwout Yea i know none needed.

  • Comment removed

  • why not use jet rather than props?

  • @syco50 props do the job without the massive fuel consumption associated with jet engines

  • The QTR doesn't look like it would fly well. There is no vertical axis stability at all in airplane mode... I guess if you added two tails like on the V-22.

  • @AIRdomination no need for vertical stabilizers.

  • @arielwollinger I suppose not, but I think it would be more economic. It would use less computer resources that could go to something more else. That and for an aircraft built like the QTR I think it would be better WITH vertical stabilization. But yeah I suppose you're right. The B-2 is a living example.

  • @AIRdomination It would look less retarded with a vertical tail too :P

  • I still dont like that thing without a vertical stabilizer..... I know that it can definitely fly without one but what about redundency (power off no engines it probably would start to go into a spin) Not to mention I like big rudders and it would make it look hella cool.

  • Guyzz...... (With reference to V-22 Osprey and Tilt-rotor concept ) - This is a very refreshing and revolutionary approach to the VTOL concept.... Military has accepted it and thus, it means its a mature-enough technology...... It has proven its worthiness and capabilities by participating in the conflicts...... Yet, it is a highly disputed and frequently debated-upon platform/technology and not exactly very accepted round the globe...... Why is it so?????

  • @anshumanabhisek

Props dont work well with engines in front of the other. CG is difficult with different loads. The wings are long and will need a lot of work to strengthen them plus they nee to be as light as possible.

There are many reasons. Why dont they just copy my idea.

  • @anshumanabhisek The Osprey has superior range and speed, so it's great as a transport and cargo aircraft. It's no good for combat because it doesn't have an effective weapon system. It also can't do combat approaches in the manner of a Blackhawk or a Kiowa. It is extremely vulnerable during transition and requires a much larger landing area than existing helicopters. It is also very complicated, expensive and requires lots of training to operate and maintain.

  • I have always wondered if jet technology would be applicable to a VTOL cargo/assult vehicle such as this? It seems that they would be less problamatic then rotor-craft.

  • @templerman Have you ever seen a jet powered Helicopter? it is the same principal, but maybe a JAOT might be a good idea, remember that this is still relatively new technology.

  • @futuredirectorwanna My idea would be something like that of an AV-8B, but having a smaller engine and thrust-ducting capabilities. They would need to be riged in a quad systeme and be set high up on the fuselage in the same way as those on the A-10 Thunderbolt-II so as to avoid problems from F.O.D. I imagine something the size of a CH-53 for troopers and gear and a wider-larger variant for vehicles and such. Do you remember the kids TV series THUNDERBIRDS. It would be something like that.

  • Isn't that IRAN they're fying into? It's a cool video !

  • Isn't that IRAN they're fying into?

  • Great animation! ...but where are the locals, meeting our brave troops with rose petals??? There should be crowds of friendly women and smiling children welcoming democracy, where are they???

    LOL

  • the tiltrotor has better performance than a chinook, but when you factor in increased maintainance and training (logistics tail) required, it is less valuable overall.

  • @Uncle5cary only at first, and the cost of life makes it much more viable than the chinook

  • KISS=Keep It Simple, Stupid

The only tilt rotor worth developing is Bell Augusta 609. V 22 and this "quad" are crap, impresive, dreaming crap.

  • if they build it and it works i want one

  • The point is that all this high tech crap doesn't win wars. Example: Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam.

  • @Uncle5cary "high tech crap" does it's job, Vietnam was a lost because of political decisions, not because of equipment or military actions, the U.S. military won every single battle they entered in Vietnam. The Iraq war was won within weeks, the insurgency during the occupation was the issue. Afghanistan seems to mirror Vietnam at the moment.

  • @Uncle5cary I doubt any single piece of "high tech crap" will ever win a war by itself, and neither should this piece of machinery be expected to.

  • @Uncle5cary 100% correct! But don't tell that to Bell investors -- military contracts are so yummy! :)

  • COOL!!!!!!!

  • The Marine Corps got MV-22B while Air Force got CV-22B. Guess what the Army got Bell Quad Tilt Rotor (QTR)!

  • Landing a tiltrotor on a ship with remote control? Nice video game.

  • @Uncle5cary northrop is planning on landing an unmanned jet aircraft on a carrier, which is at much higher speed, and required much higher precision, what's your point?

  • @Cobra666Commander, i agree with you. 'jacobsten' has probably just watched a WWII video showing people getting killed by planes, Anyways the Americans are not stupid! they invented the fucking car and tons of other history spanking stuff so jacobsten go die in a hole and sob how much you just failed.

  • Karl Benz is generally regarded as the inventor of the automobile.

  • QUAD tilt is very unstable configuration on mix mode. project is UNrealistic.

  • ABSOLUTLY ASTOUNDING!

    * * * * *

  • Having 4 rotors seems a lot more stable. Like 4 wheels vs 2.

  • This seems near future possible and amazing

  • WHOAH!! great vid.

  • I can see this, seeings how the V-22 Osprey flew so well without ANY problems... oh wait. 20 years later and it is still being 'perfected'

  • how about inventing something that does not kill or support killing in any way... not that you americans clearly are so clever

  • @jacobsten

How about you not be such a cowardly bleeding heart cunt and mind your own country's fucking business?

  • A helicopter (or similar technology) is not inherently a killing machine. This could provide great support for victims of natural disasters.

Learn and understand the word "Realpolitik"

  • NOT NEEDED TO COMPLICATED

  • It's a cool concept, but it's kinda pointless. You can operate C130s off of a carrier. Use em.

  • The flight deck on a carrier is too short of a distance for a C130 to take off.

  • ... no, it's not.

The C-130 can actually take off unassisted. JATO assistance for a heavy payload though.

And the military had in place a program to Navalise the C130 further with CATOBAR abilities. Money forced it down but the plans were all there. It'd be cheaper than this multi step crap.

  • oh shit. Im sorry. I was thinking of a different type of aircraft. I had the B-52 on my mind. Now a B-52 is too huge. lol

  • A B-52 is, like, three times the size of a C130 lol.

  • epic

  • nice video , BYT FOR A GAME CINEMATICS.NOT FOR REAL!!!

the video says....BUY MORE WEAPONS, DO MORE WARS ....

    and i say....fuck off assholes.

  • Gee, those unmanned "Freighters' sure looked a lot like Bell/Agusta BA-609s.

  • WOW.. that was great:)

  • Cool looking Airplane.

  • nice!
