On December 24,2006 at 8 o’clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn’t come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn’t repost a chain letter.if you don’t repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. sorry don’t wanna die
I've always been fascinated by watching traffic, especially at night. After dark it looks so serene and orderly from a distance. Oceans of sparkling diamonds and rubys. Funny how something so frustrating on the ground can be so beautiful when you see it from afar.
In general I think they've improved our lives in many ways, but also come with some downsides that could be improved... Converting to better energy sources (hydrogen, air, electricity, etc.) and improved roadway design/planning would definitely help... =)
I think they stopped construction during the worst part of the economic downturn, but there are still plenty of developments on hold, awaiting better economy and city approvlals. :-(
No doubt, they've build this valley into oblivion and you're right - it's hard to tell apart from the SFV... A traffic signal every block (usually red) and just too many cars in general. I need a helicopter to get around! XD
I dont kow if you care or not but back in 1996 I made a music video nera were you live in the Shadow Pines area (my brother just got a house there this summer) We filmed it down by the train tunnels (I bet you know the area) is Caled FREE FALLIN, the song by Tom Petty. Anyway I like your videos, Keep it Up, Luke
I have that Petty CD (Full Moon Fever) - cool song. I know of one train tunnel on the east end of the SCV, not far from River's End RV park. It's actually in Bear Canyon (part of Soledad Canyon) near a street called "Capra". I'll go look for your vid is it's online... I'm sure I'll recognize the area :-)
No doubt! Soledad used to be THE road when I was a kid - a two lane highway with a stop sign at Sierra Hwy and another at Bouquet Cyn, and nothing in between! Ahhh those were the days! :-)
There is a wide variety of economic areas in Santa Clarita - from gated multi-million dollar estates to ranch-like areas, to housing tract suburbia to high density (apartment/condo) complexes.
In any case, it's definitely NOT the small town I grew up in anymore - traffic can be a problem at times, especially towards the center of the city and I'd say the whole place is a bit over-built, but at least there are no "slums" around. There are also lots of hidden places here to explore, too. :-)
Thanks for checking it out! I do have plans to shoot a lot more SCV traffic and other stuff, and I'll make it a point to hit Valencia, Newhall, Stevenson Ranch, Town Center, etc. ...there are lotsa of cool places left to do yet! :-)
Those are cool cars - especially when you can drive them around short distances without running the engine much. I can't wait for all electrics with decent battery performance (that are also affordable!) :-)
Yea - you're not kidding! I'll be one of the first in line to buy an electric car as soon as an affordable model comes out. Thanks for watching/commenting :-)
Wow, that's a LOT of vehicles! Here in our little town of Midland, Ontario, we call it a traffic jam if you're at a stop light and there are four or five other cars there with you.
That sounds like heaven to me! Hahaha XD This little town was like that when I grew up here. There were no traffic signals, only an occasional stop sign. Now it's not much different than the northern L.A. valleys. 3 to 4 lanes of surface street traffic in both directions, and the dreaded traffic signals every block. The traffic shown in this video is actually VERY light for this area. Rush hour is not unlike NYC. :-( Thanks for watching and happy holidays! =D
Yea, it's gets pretty scary here during rush hour! The night shots are may favorites too - I'm planning on more (and better ones) of those. Thanks for watching! :-)
Definitely, although not as fluid as I would have liked - I have some other techniques to experiment with and hopefully more cool footage to come. Thanks for watching! =D

Do you think the automobile makes our lives better or worse?
