  • You my friend are one very talented individual ! ! ! Great Job ! ! !

  • Great movie **********

  • Strangely enough, this is my Christmas movie. By way of strange tradition, this and the Evil Dead series gets watched without failure every solstice.

  • I saw the comments, and, gee, how dumb I am. I never saw this classic cult movie. Is Jane Fonda married to the angel since the start or does she marry him as a happy ending? The music is super (but I didn't see David Hemmings, was he different at that movie or haven't you decided for one of his scenes?

  • @christopher242424 Pygar the angel rescues both Barbarella and the Black Queen at the end of the movie, but is more romantically inclined towards Barbarella, as the Black Queen tried to forcibly seduce him.

  • Hey now! this is light and airy and a bit whimsical, ah yes the Free generation as it were. I like the cute lil winged boi creature ha, considering LSD ruled the day back then I'm sure this film made instant believers of the then movie goers, but this is a Grimm's Fairy Tale compared to what Tinsel Town is hawking on us today. I'll drink to that, good as reason to hoist me glass as any eh! Kudos Craig.

  • DUDE, I gotta send this to my dad! This was one of the first films that I ever saw on BetaMax... & now I am feeling old, lol, thanks Craig! Whether we are Fonda Jane or not, she did help cover the pre puberty preFarrah Fawcett years. If I remember right, Barbarella had a few firsts for the movie industry in it, I can't remember now, but I am sure my dad will remind me, lol. Awesome work my friend! I am going to go take shoot up my geritol now.

  • Hey Craig,

On this I just want to thank you for the great remembrances you brought to me.

Oh my, I was just 14/15y.o.

    How great

    Thank you, thank you

    Pios

  • That really is as wicked as it seems! I think that it belongs in the "cult classics" with the Ed Wood films. The editing here is great, Craig. Really enjoyed this! :-)

  • Such a cult classic. If I were you have a cult classic marathon this film would be on the list.

  • that film looked crazy, lol

i confused it with "thumbalina" at first, so i was a bit confused, lol

what was with the crazy dolls with teeth?

  • Man, she sure looks like her Dad here! Wasn't she married to Roger Vadim once?

    I think so.

YOU did an amazing job......song too!!! Love it.

    XX

  • @RockyWhyNott: Barbarella was directed by Jane Fonda's husband at the time, Roger Vadim. It is a visually stylish and tongue in cheek classic. John Phillip Law who played the angel Pygar, also starred in another 60's classic film based on a comic character...'Danger Diabolic'. That is a stunner too.

  • ....you resisted using Duran Duran as music....GREAT TRIBUTE TO A GREAT MOVIE.....unfairly maligned because its fun.

  • One of the greatest, funniest, cheesiest, and oddly inventive sci-fi films one will ever see. I had the pleasure of meeting John Phillip Law in early '08 just before his passing and I want everyone to know what a gracious and kind individual he was. Very, very nice man and an under-rated actor, too: "The Love Machine," "The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming." Of course, he'll always be remembered for playing Barbarella's angel. Good show, Craig. This was very enjoyable!

  • PERFECT!!!! Absolutely!!! Wonderful Jane Fonda!!

Great video, image, editing, and amazing music! :)

    An extraordinary work here!!

  • ;)

Amazing things happen when you touch that computer !!!

    Nice one C♥
