@TechHarvest Any place else I can get this? Since BootPicker is among the missing, and rEFIt still works in 10.7, I would like to use it with the changes you have shown here, but link, of course, is dead. Is it a relatively straightforward change in the config file? Thanks.
hey when i restart and dont click anything, it automatically boots to an os within 5 seconds, i mean is there way to stop it auto booting when you dont click anthing?
@TechHarvest thx, if my default os is windows and my refit is under mac, do i have it during the windows startup? or do i have to have to install refit under windows too.
@k1ller2one rEFIt should be the first thing you see when you turn on your Mac when you have it installed regardless of what your main operating system is.
Thanks! this is great! no problems at all! Just one question, Is there any way to get the refit startup screen when holding down the option key (alt). Instead of the original boot up menu. So you can decide for yourself if you want to start the rEFIt boot up screen. That would be awesome! Thanks anyway!
@Jibbisch You are changing the EFI file by installing rEFIt. The EFI is like a BIOS on a PC. So your boot up is rEFIt. There is no way to do what you describe to my knowledge. Sorry :(
I used your technique as show, only one problem. I am only dual booting, when I replaced the files and restarted it now shows the linux icon where it should be the windows icon? Boots into windows of course but would like it to display the windows icon
RIP MegaUpload :(

@k1ller2one Yes, you can alter the time. I believe it's in the config file. Unfortunately I no longer have a Mac so I can't do a video on it.
