I think violin and piano are in perfect harmony in this version. Both are played in a very gentle way.

Amazingly played. I (piano) and my sister (flute) played this piece for my brother's wedding. This video has helped me realize that we were not paying enough attention to the tempo, which carries the piece.

"Salut d'Amour" roughly translated in English "Love 's Greeting". But I would say it in your age term more like "Hello! Love" , "Welcome Love" in a sense Love as not refering to a person but "Love" itself as you feel in your heart.
