Its horrifying to think how long that would take on a canvas without a computer. God I love tablets/Adobe-like photoshops. the dragon though, if the title is 'car vs dragon', shouldn't the dragon be as beautiful as the car? i'd like to see a muscular, fast, shiny corvette dragon. that would be sweet! like, if it were chrome and had good anatomy and sort of robotic...

Hey there

to be honest i paint ever since i was a little kid so i never studied painting anywhere

i got serious about painting only a year and a half ago and i have learned a lot from tutorials out there ( there are a lot of good ones out there )

but the best tutorials are actually learning to look at things and get a 3d sense of things also try doing experimets with lighting

try taking objects and watch what happends when you move them around a light source ...

pay close attention to the colors of objects when they face light sources in different directions ... try to think why they appear in the colors they have

also try to look at the smallest detils in things

+ as i said there are a lot of tutorials out there and some of them are pretty good

as for equipment ... basically if you want to paint digitaly you need a tablet

there are various prices ... i got intous 3 A4 i don't remember how much i paid for it but it was pretty expensive
