Wrong, there are many professional guitar players out there that give tons of credit to tremonti for his playing, and lets be honest, Kirk Hammett is a phenomenal guitar player, but he didnt "revolutionize" anything on a guitar, and neither did Mark Tremonti, so when you say "contributions" how exactly do you mean that? Speaking of guitar, do you play guitar at all?
Yes Scott I do play guitar - grade 8+ in fact. Hammett has not only come up with timelessriffs (enter sandman, battery etc) he also has some of the most revered & celebrated guitar solos in metal history. tremonti is an amazing guitarist although like us all he has weaker areas he strives to improve on. What he is not yet is a legend. Not many people aside from crazy creed fans actually like creed. AB has the potential to be great & legendary but they have forsaken that over this awful reunion.

I listen to there albums allot as well, actually I have all of them downloaded to my laptop, I personally think creed is a good band, and so is mettalica, but I think mettalica got to where they are now through hard work, so did creed, but mettalica has been there longer, and theres honestly not a single song they have that I don't like, but after 4 weeks of none stop guitar hero mettalica, you can easily get bored of them for maybe 2 days, then its back to listening to the, again XD.

Thats really cool. Yeah the new LP album is gonna be crazy apparently really big concept album or something. I liked the last album a lot thought it was their best so far.
MTM was good, but was their worst album and thats not a bad thing. It is not easy to top hybrid theory or meteora...i personally thought meteora was their heaviest and best album.
I personally though meteora was crap & never wasted my money on it. I got bored of hybrid theory as it became dated with the rest of rap metal. I think M2M is their best album & an album that isnt set in a trend its just great classic songs. Not taking a stab at u just saying i went off LP & M2M brought me back.
meteora had I think 2 great songs, but yeah the others especially M2M was awesome, I liked meteora but I only really liked "what I've done" and I cant remember the other one.
yeah I thought every album they had was great, personally I also thought there last album was the best, gonna be hard to top that, but I thought the same thing about hybrid theory, and they even managed to top that, I already heard new divide, and that was AWESOME, I hope they can make some other songs as good, if not better then that song (I still like "what I've done" and "in the end" the best)
i agree that metallica definitely built a grassroots fanbase before getting big..they started something revolutionary...while i too don't view creed as revolutionary or original as tallica, they are good and i think mark is a great guitar player...his riffs and solos imo are quite good

Show u what scotty? I dont spend my life making silly youtbe videos of my guitar playing like muost retards who use this site. Why would some1 thumb down my comment regarding Kirk? The facts are there he is in a legendary bands an dhas put some of the best guitar work in metal on tape. Tremonti is the modern future of guitar & is on his way but he ha sa long way to go. I mean he started playing guitar because of Kirk! So how can you say he is better?! Kirk did it way b4 any idiot can see that!

Secondly, its amusing how all creed fans need to equate sales with quality. So if thats tru ethen Rain is a shit song because it was a complete failure on the billboard charts right? It came in at 95 so where is Rain latenitelvr? Not one hit video or song off of full circle so far! Pearl Jam have a bigger hit than creed at the moment! Who's laughing now?

Sales tell nothing about the music. Pop artists sell more albums then anyone because they are marketed worldwide and showcased because its what people want to hear. Musically I would much prefer to listen to AB. They have everything going for them musically. Creed is also ans alwesome band. Anything with Tremonti on it is gold IMO...

dude, I like both mettalica and creed, but after playing guitar hero mettallica for like 4 weeks, I kinda got a little sick of hearing metallica songs -_- so for now I am back to creed (and I DO think there is better bands then creed out there)

Dude I don't play guitar heroe I listen to their albums when I want to! I really couldnt be sick of listening to metallica but I suppose too much of a good thing is always a bad thing!

I listen to there albums allot as well, actually I have all of them downloaded to my laptop, I personally think creed is a good band, and so is mettalica, but I think mettalica got to where they are now through hard work, so did creed, but mettalica has been there longer, and theres honestly not a single song they have that I don't like, but after 4 weeks of none stop guitar hero mettalica, you can easily get bored of them for maybe 2 days, then its back to listening to the, again XD.

I agree with u except metallica worked harder, remember creed pretty much got big overnight w/MOP, metallica built a grass roots fanbase for about 3 albums b4 they started geting really big & playing arenas etc. No disrespect but I do not think creed will ever be considered in the same league as metallica - metallica r pioneers creed r not original & didnt change music like metallica have. Mark plays guitar because of metallica. Creed have had good songs & 1 gr8 album (MOP) but thats it for me.

yeah, I grew up around mettalica, so of course I like them more, plus they did work harder, I mean I thought the songs in guitar hero where high quality, but really they are low quality compared to the real mettalica singing on stage or in there albums, my oldest brother's faveorite band is mettalica, and even though we both like creed, we like mettalica more, but there are new bands I like as well, atm, the only band I am listening to is mettalica, and linkin park, I hope there CD is out soon.

Thats really cool. Yeah the new LP album is gonna be crazy apparently really big concept album or something. I liked the last album a lot thought it was their best so far.

MTM was good, but was their worst album and thats not a bad thing. It is not easy to top hybrid theory or meteora...i personally thought meteora was their heaviest and best album.

I personally though meteora was crap & never wasted my money on it. I got bored of hybrid theory as it became dated with the rest of rap metal. I think M2M is their best album & an album that isnt set in a trend its just great classic songs. Not taking a stab at u just saying i went off LP & M2M brought me back.

meteora had I think 2 great songs, but yeah the others especially M2M was awesome, I liked meteora but I only really liked "what I've done" and I cant remember the other one.

yeah I thought every album they had was great, personally I also thought there last album was the best, gonna be hard to top that, but I thought the same thing about hybrid theory, and they even managed to top that, I already heard new divide, and that was AWESOME, I hope they can make some other songs as good, if not better then that song (I still like "what I've done" and "in the end" the best)

i agree that metallica definitely built a grassroots fanbase before getting big..they started something revolutionary...while i too don't view creed as revolutionary or original as tallica, they are good and i think mark is a great guitar player...his riffs and solos imo are quite good

well never of creeds songs really sounded this heavy except a few... but you can tell he's getting his new sound from Alter Bridge i expect their new album to be twice as good as full circle and this one is good too.
