...get quite emotional wishing that I had lived here during that era. Must have been a fantastic experience. Are your photos still being exhibited? Thanks again Michael for your wonderful work.
@chaddyhk Thanks. Yes, I have fond memories of Hong Kong. The best years of my life. Yes my photos will be shown on request by Tao Galleries. Also a book with my HK photos is on sale in Hong Kong, named 'Hong Kong Fifties'.
Thanks so much for all your fantastic pieces of film Michael. I visited with my parents in the early 70's and recognize many of the places and buildings as they were in your films. I returned in the late 90's and have lived here since but was so saddened to see most if it gone. Still, an amazing place to live and I get quite emotio
Were you a tourist in Hong Kong in the 1950's Michael ? Thanks for bringing some good old memory of the distance past.Of course, the good old Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Building which is still my favorite.I can remember my childhood piggy back was in the shape of the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Buidling.
No, I worked in a Dutch bank there from 1949-55, returning in 1960 and 1989. You will have seen the old imposing HKSB building in many of my 60 clips on Hong Kong.
happy holidays.. :)

It was so pleasant back then; I went there in 2000, 2002 and 2006, it was like people overflow. Thanks for your video set by the way.
