@trotter1969 Hi Mandy, I got the Distress inks quite some time ago now, and can't remember where from, but I probably have them in a haul video - check the vids before this one as I usually name retailers that I use. Hugs, Rachel
I LOVE all your videos!! You have wonderful ideas...LOVE your tags (including the one you didn't finish). You're a great motiver and artist! You're interesting to listen to and watch....fabulous tutorials. Please keep them coming.
I love your tags. I made on with the purple and bronze colors similar to yours after watching and I love it. It was my first vintage tag project and you gave great instructions. I will post sometime with some other projects. Thank you for your inspiration! Love your work.
your tags are very unique and wonderful! i was wondering does michaels sell distress inks? im a beginer in scrapbooking and would like to purchase some(:
@TheAquasweetie93 Hi, Thanks for your comment. We don't have Michael's here in the UK, but I'm sure that they would sell Distress Inks from what I know of them. Hugs, Rachel
Rachel, lovely tag. I've made a few now Anytime I give away a book as a gift I include one of the tags as a book mark. My friends love them !!! Keep inspiring us...and thanks. :-) Beata
I think your tags are lovely, I really liked the one that you didn't finish, where did you get that image of the little girl, she's breaktaking. Also, what kind of rusting solution do you use? Which brand:? Thanks soo much,
Why in the world are you unhappy with your second tag? You just need to put it down for 2 weeks, and then you'll be able to see it's beauty! You must be in crazy phase right now, because ALL THREE OF THOSE PROJECTS ARE STUNNING!
I loved the Tim Holtz ink color combinations you used on your tag. I have not used the mica yet. Could you tell us what you used to adhere it to your tag? I loved the rusty can you made!! Please do a step by step tutorial on it ! You are so smart and creative! Thank you for sharing your art with us!! Coleen
Love both tags but I must say i really do like the one you say you don't lol. I think it's charming :) Love what you did with the rust technique & would like to know how you did it? What is the product called that you used? TFS :)
I am totally loving your stuff. You are very talented and English! I love our American crafters and have many favourites, but it is great to have a talent this side of the pond to learn from. Thank you.
Rachel~ I love your projects!! You have the same style or likes as me!! Love that grungy OLD look but with some elements of color and art showin thru!! I wanted to ask you what do you make your rusting solution out of? I have heard of vinegar and salt and also bleach and vinegar but havent tried either so wanted to ask you because I love the effect you got on the can!
I love logging on to youtube and finding another new video from you. I love the tag and I am head over heals over your altered tin can. What is the rusting solution?
Love your videos Rachel! I learn so much. Having soup for lunch, need a tin can! haha! Also going to see about getting some rusting solution at my local art store. Have a great weekend... xo
You said you used a rusting solution? Do you have a brand that you use? Also, the patina you used, I would be interested in that as well. And what did you cut alal those shapes from? (the tags, hearts, etc)
both your projects are fantastic rachel..the tag is very beautiful indeed and i really love your art can..what is this rusting solution..i have never heard of that..i am intrigued to learn more about that. thank you so much for creating these videos i so enjoy seeing your art and projects..Jan
