  • @trotter1969 Hi Mandy, I got the Distress inks quite some time ago now, and can't remember where from, but I probably have them in a haul video - check the vids before this one as I usually name retailers that I use. Hugs, Rachel

I wanted to ask you what do you make your rusting solution out of? I have heard of vinegar and salt and also bleach and vinegar but havent tried either so wanted to ask you because I love the effect you got on the can!

  • The rusting technique takes several hours to complete, but I will will and put something together to show the basic steps :-)

  • You said you used a rusting solution? Do you have a brand that you use? Also, the patina you used, I would be interested in that as well. And what did you cut alal those shapes from? (the tags, hearts, etc)

  • I think the Mica Flakes just add the crowning touch on your tag....beautiful. I would love to see a tutorial on using the rusting solution....it had such a fabulous effect -- and your piece turned out so lovely! Thanks for sharing with us!
