@phantompanther I'm sure they will be happy. They are young, and the ZooMontana staff will surely take good care of them.
However, I don't like the fact that zoos move animals so often. One of the wonderful things about zoos is that they give you the opportunity to observe the same animal over long periods of time and get to know it as an individual.
Each time zoos move an animal, they are moving somebody's favorite animal. And that is especially hard for children (and adults like me).
@ZooVisitorMM I really agree with you on this! While I know it's necessary to sometimes move them due to lack of space, it is really frustrating when the animals are moved frequently. It seems that some exhibits are made to hold animals temporarily. I find temporary exhibits to be rather strange, despite the "exciting" factor. Also, this is a situation where having multiple enclosures for each species could come in handy. =)
@phantompanther I really do think your idea for multiple enclosures is a good one. You mentioned that some zoos might not have enough space - but have you thought of building up - would that be possible for some species?
@ZooVisitorMM Heh, thank you! It took me a while to figure out what you meant by "building up". Are you referring to multiple stories/floors? If so, that might be a possibility! Although, it would only work for certain species ( as you seem to have took note by saying "some" ) and I think that might be quite expensive to do. It's something they could look into though. I know I love the idea. =)
@phantompanther Yes, I was referring to multiple stories and/or features than animals can climb on. And also to perhaps creating "hills" with tunnels going through them, etc. Anything to add surface area.
@aliniazgd This video will also have historical significance someday, too, I think - this is the last birthday the three tiger cubs will be celebrating together.
And, unfortunately, the number of animals in the Zoo will be reduced by another 2 when Terney and Koosaka are sent to ZooMontana.
I'm sorry that your favorite is leaving! Hopefully the tigers will be happy in their new home!

@ZooVisitorMM Yeah, I really like that idea! I love using space like that and it could really help with the space issues!
