  • Ah, our wonderfull fjordhorses. No, they does not have to lines in Norway as least. We have one line Fjordhorses.

  • I had a Fjord myself, amazing horses. The grey & white ones are my faves.

  • is the white one a fjord as well? what a rare color for them :]

  • @MyHorsePrince

yeah it is ^^ u also have grey ones

  • it's very Beautyful

  • Beautyful horse!!

  • a mulher tem rabao gostoso..

  • My dad is gonna buy me one like that. But not a stallion ;))

  • damn she got a big booty

  • what a stunning stallion...i can understand why he is getting so much attention, he's a perfect example of the breed!

whereever i go with my fjord we always turn lots of heads!

  • Hes amazing, what a shape. Most fjords are fat as meetballs.

  • ..and the reason for ANY horse being fat is their owner. a Fjord is not ment to look stocky or fat, but sadly if not well taken cared of, they can easily gain weight :(

  • @Jefrma but their breed has 2 lines just like haflingers. one is the little thinner and the otherone is more fat :P

  • @kaulitzLL where did you heard such crap because that is false. There is only one type/line among fjords and today is the more lighter build which is closer to the breed´s original look. a heavy type fjord today doesnt get good buildpoints from a judge cause that is not a wanted thing with this breed. if your fjord is heavybuild and you take it infront of a norwegian judge, I doubt it gets a higher point than 7 for it´s type..

  • @Jefrmasorry then that was just something a man said to me when i was thinking on buying a fjord horse but thanks :) now i know its not true :)

  • @kaulitzLL of course heavier build fjords can still be found, but that doesnt mean those fjords have the build norway prefers today. And if a fjord is heavy, it cant really perform well as a ridinghorse cause of it´s lack in flexability. The breed wasnt originally heavy, though of course a fjord will always be heavy compared to the more lightbuild ridingponies/horses :)

  • I understand the attention.. The fjord in the front is beautiful! I love his head, what an expression! :D

  • i wish i had one........

  • me too. I wish I had a fjord. It would need to be shipped to hawaii though. Haha. Now THAT could get a little expensive.

  • actually a fjord´s mane can grow beyond the clipped look, a lot

  • Indeed! We have 8 Fjord horses in our stable and I have to keep the manes in shape... you have to cut them every month to keep the style traditional, otherwise it grows long and the manes just look like those of island horses. It's lovely, good natured horses, difficult to keep them clean though! LOL

  • I used to keep my fjord´s mane extreemely short, called it "an armyhaircut". My fjord was very sporty and leightbodied so the cut suited her, I think. But I had to cut at least once in two weeks to avoid one longer cutevent, if u know what I mean :D It´s amazingly tough stuff, especially in the middle of the mane!

  • I love fjord horses. They are amazing, rare, beautiful breeds

  • The clipped look on the fjord is not natural. I had a fjord and she had a long mane when we got her but we clipped it to look "normal"

  • JLADOOOOOOOOR' COU DE COEEEUR

  • I get the same attention with my fjord, it drives me nuts

  • I understand why u would get so much attention

  • hehehe...look at pebbles' mane on my videos...her mane is quite long

its about 6 inches now on one side..

  • wat the owner probally ment wos fjord horses hav a mane like that because it has been cut like that since the vikings thats wat they ment by the norm...thats the tradition....

  • Really? The owner said they had been clipped just a little, but that the "Trojan Horse" look was the norm... Huh. Learn something every day!

  • norwegian fjord manes actually do grow past the "clipped" look- you have to keep them trimmed short or else they will grow out and fall over just like any other horses' mane. just thought you'd like to know ;)
