Rented this game from Blockbuster and beat it, bought it on Steam one day for cheap and beat it, now I have to buy the 360 version to play the DLC(no pointing in buying DLC for a rented game in my opinion), they could just release the DLC through Steam, they've got a great DLC implementation where it automatically installs all DLCs for the game every time you install it. Of course all companies have their head up their ass when it comes to re-releasing stuff though.

I bought the entire game for 360 just so i can play the DLC, but it was a disappointment.

The ending of the retail game was simple, elegant and poetic, but then DLC comes out with a lame finish that puts a bad taste in your mouth, why do they bother?

If you don't want your experience to be ruined, don't play the DLC. But if you just had to find out what happened (like i did), then do it at your own risk.

That is a problem with DLC and sequels of course, rushed games that aren't put together well, and apparently the retail game wasn't received well enough by critics and stuff, 'cause the Sands are coming back again in May or so. Not that it's a bad thing, though the new story and prince etc were quite entertaining.

the sequel is entitled :prince of persia: kingdom of darkness and is set in babylon, also it's straight forward and not a free-runner like the last one, this time it's more like the old games, you have a target to get to and that's it.

well as i wrote the idea for the new trilogy i think i have a say in what the sequel is, i wrote the storyline and names for the games, although i don't know how it will look, the idea for it come after 2006, 8 months before the project started, i gave ubisoft montreal the idea to make it like a book, an illustration, magical powers, dark monsters and an epic storyline.

the reason for the artistic like graphics is a representation of a book, an author's illustration of how a book world looks.

I finished Prince of Persia, not sure what to think about the ending. It wasn't what I would have done if I could choose the ending, but I understand it's what the prince would have done. Also, it left it open for another game.

But this? I have to BUY the ending to a game I already payed $60 for, and had to see it get lowered to $40 only a month later? I know it doesn't matter, but Ubisoft can say goodbye to buy business.

Ok, this trailer is awesome, but since games may not be as exciting as the trailer sometimes, I want to say two main things they should improve for the game to become much better:

#1: They should make the Prince with some kind of Health, so that he could die, which would give much more challenge sensation to the game;

#2: They should make a wider variety of moves, in both fighting and acrobatics, since they did that in the Sands of Time Trilogy and it really made the games improve.

well technecally they are still doing this with games like WoW where the patches add on extra content, the only difference with WoW is that it has Expansion packs, but they are usually well worth the money.
