  • I have schizophrenia.

  • caused by whats in the water....

  • It was cause of this

  • Is this an example like I'm in the 9th grade and we were taking our EOTC (end of course test) so we got out lunches switched we have two lunches our school is only ninth grade so I had first lunch that day so I went and sat by my cousin and this kid was just talking to his self like just cussing I thought he was talking to me my cousin saw me getting pist off (I like to fight) he said no dude then he wiggled his finger around his ear trying to tell me the kid was off I just wanted to know is if

  • Also I get depressed from time to time and I'm not 100% stress free, I often stress about school and the worries. Its driving me crazy and I'm afraid to tell my doctor or parents or even my school nurse because they might think I'm crazy or something.

I'm not paranoid, nor do I see things, I'm not on any drug nor do I use drugs, I don't drink and I'm 17.

  • @MadDogMeh You're just going through stress and hormonal teenage BS. Your emotions are going crazy. Nothing to worry about.

  • @MadDogMeh The things you mention seem VERY normal for your age, or ANY age. There will always be SOMETHING that will cause you stress, your 17, from personal expiriance I can tell you it will only get more stressfull. Now if your hearing voices you should talk it over with your doctor. The dreams, depresion and stress seem very normal to me, I would only worry about the voices. Good luck!!!

  • I have no clue on what I have, In 2007-2008ish I had a dream, where someone I cared about passed away and in that dream, the year 2011 was coming up a lot. Since than I have been worried like crazy, I get scared if that person drives somewhere or has a strange symptom. It also moved on to other family members and to the point where I hear voices that answer my questions, so if I ask; "Will (so & so) die today?" and the voice will answer with either a yes or no, I get these 50-100 times day!

  • I have i some uncomfortable situations trouble speaking. And also I rappedly change my thoughts.

    Should I be worried?

  • @iRobii You should not be worried - just go to a doctor, find out what is going on, get treatment, and get on with your life. What you describe could be caused by a number of different disorders or even just due to a temporary situation that causes you stress. A doctor can help you find out what's up, and point you toward the best sort of help.

  • @thomasfaltejsek Yeah, well this is only in rare situations though. Like when I am at school I am perfectly fine, I am social and considered the funniest guy there who makes everyone laugh. But sometimes (especially during the winter) when I am alone I get these thoughts.

    Thanks!

  • @iRobii It always seems to be it's the nicest people that get anxiety, worries and other mental health challenges. Fortunately people also have an inner strength and deep desire for health and happiness. I think that is what leads people to seek solutions.

  • this guy looks, talks and acts like douche. He should run a series called How to Be A Douche. My best friend in the world has SP and in NO Flipping way is it humurous in any way...asshole

  • @KevinPatrickCarey sorry you said sp and i thought of super powers not making fun of you i just thought of it

  • @CNN911Fakes You said: "Perhaps you can enlighten me about the content of the comment. I have been off YT for a while and have just returned briefly to see what's up. I saw 2 recent comments from you on my channel page; the first using an ad hominem attack concenring my sanity.

If you made a comment on my channel, it is still there."

Maybe it's a youtube glitch. You're still insane.

  • schizophrenia in itself is just a invented name applied to a set of symptoms. it very difficult to prove or define as the symptoms are things that are quite common for all human beings and everybody wil expeirence at some point in time. what you need to remember is a doctor or psychologist will never be able to get inside you and can only experience his own existance and that applies to any human being. how can you judge somebody else when youonly have ur own existance to go by

  • @210482fmj So let's assume you're right, that schizophrenia is just an invented name applied to a set of symptoms. A lot of people believe this, and some have actually told people with schizophrenia this. How do you think a person with these symptoms feels when someone tells them, "oh, don't worry about it, you're just a wild and crazy guy," or "that's ok, I accept you just as you are." People are trying to be helpful but in fact are denying the very experience of the person.

  • @210482fmj

i agree and that also apply to LGBT people. people only judge without even know it

  • I'm 19 now, i have the symptoms

  • @cryingmushroom47 So do I...

  • @cryingmushroom47 go see your GP dude.

  • @sean2kk8 already have been diognosed with anxiey and depression. They think there is more wrong with me, but the still havn't decided what it is. The symptoms I do have is disorgonized thoughts, there majorly retarded. If i do have it, could I be in the very early stages?

  • @cryingmushroom47 well from what i heard anxiety and depression can be confused with Schizophrenia but I'm no expert as my cousin was diagnosed because of substance abuse. but i'm no expert if you think your going to be this and that then more than likely you're suffering from depression and anxiety.

  • @sean2kk8 they already gave me meds for the schizophrenia, a while ago now. Have not taken them yet. Guess i'll just wait and see if i get worse

  • @cryingmushroom47 but why are they giving you meds if they haven't decided what it is yet? they can only give you meds if your diagnosed?

  • @sean2kk8 That's what i want to know, but they said "it's a trial', so if i take them and do get a bit better then most likely I do have schizophrenia, or atleast the early signs of it.

  • @cryingmushroom47 what medication are you taking? and do you see hallucinations at all? cause writing to you and I'm guessing your condition isn't extreme?

  • @sean2kk8 At the moment i'm taking mirtazpine 30mg and the other meds they gave me are abilify (ariprprazole) which i'm not taking. I do see things, like lights flashing and stuff like that. Have heard voices. But i've heard it can start off slowly, for example; disogranized thoughts, feelings that other people don't feel, sometimes if feels like things are crawling on me, lack of interest in life and lack of motivation social isolation low energy, sometimes i question if i'm jesus. lol!

  • im 11 and have schizophrenia,is that rare?ps.im a girl....

  • @MCRisawesome100 yes it is VERY rare

  • @MCRisawesome100 No its rare you have enough balls to talk about the stuff that goes on to lead you to being diagnosed schizo

  • @MCRisawesome100 i'm 11 too and i have schizophrenia too...so maybe it's not that rare...?

  • 3 and now has a wide long bald spot down the center of her head from plucking out her own hair. My grandmother would just sit and cry at her behavior and now her remaining siblings and myself take turns keeping her until we are pushed to the brink with our health from dealing with it. We have contacted social services for help a couple of times but they pretty much give us the guilt story of what will happen to her once we turn her over I just wish I could help her

  • continued : My aunt is 53 and i can remember watching her thru the key hole rambling the medicine cabinet and screaming for razor blades to kill herself with. She has made numerous attempts at killing herself for reasons of doing it before who ever or what ever got her and other times just because she 'Thought She Was Supposed 2' She was about 17 and I was 3 when this bathroom stuff started or at least as far back as my memory goes. She repeatedly braids and unbraids her hair all day every day

  • Meds don't always help . I have an aunt that has some type of schizophrenia and we get her a monthly shot but see no difference. We have tried many meds as well as hospitals and doctors. She sits all day long every day and every second saying the same thing huffing between each time she says it . She has no quality of life and being around her is very hard , not to mention feeling like a horrible human being because sometimes I wish she would just pass on and be relieved from her persecution.

  • @cilo187 haha look whos mad....

  • @cripsmafia hahahaha look whos sucking dick.........

  • @cilo187 hey if i wanted my come back i would have wiped it off your moms face, come up with somthin more original...

  • @ParasiteFromTheHills Pure pleasure? Just do heroin if you want pure pleasure lol.

  • It is hard to believe that this guy is a professional. Very little information, joking about it? Come on guy.....

  • This guy has no adam's apple, so he has no say.

  • So if someone says "God talks to me" is that a form of Schizophrenia? I don't wanna walk outside...

  • its so sad watching someone with this disorder. they talk for hours about random stuff that would never occur in life and believe in it till they die.

  • @cilo187 no your wrong i have it, everyone has that its called dreams moron you dont understand what its like to have this disease!

  • latching on to dead people is one of the things

  • i don't believe him or any psychiatrist

  • I really wish that this man is joking. Is he joking?! I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia when I was twelve. I am thirteen years now. There are many different types of schizophrenia. Since when is Schizophrenia "humorous"?!!!

  • @ParasiteFromTheHills I think laughing at people who cut because you think they do it for attention, then bragging about how "bad" your cuts are, is pretty ironic.

  • I am very dieased it hurts sometimes. These visions I have are terrible. you do not want them. Death and terror are all I see as I sleep. Meditation does help though as someone below said. I can reach peace through that. It's so scary. My vision just goes black and white very often literally. I can barely type this well. ddd. Blood, gore, violencre, I dont want anymore of this. I am 19. I hope it doesn't get any worse or i'll end up in one of those mental hospitals I don't want that.

  • hello i would like to introduce my self my name is mr phira chuon i suffer from schizophrenia for the last 13 years and have attempted suicde for many years what i am going to tell you is the truth there is a cure or help from schizophrenia i now run a non profit site weareblessedandunderuniversallaw please join its free well as i tell you buddhism is the way treating the mind after all the diesease is within the mind please join up free and start meditation now many blessings

  • I'm 12, and I have most the symptoms._.

  • I here testify that Jesus is the only solution to salvation and a healthy mind and body. "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you" (Luke 10:19-20). "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I shall give you rest". "I am the way, the truh the life". "The Lord is my strength and my defense, he has become my salvation" (Psalms 118:14). He who belives without seeing shall be blessed. God bless you.

  • Do you really think it is healthy to drug a little kid with strong chemical medicine? Doctor's medicine only give you side effects, drug you or make your condition worse. They have temporary effect. Better helps a positive mind, hope, love, faith, homeopathic medicine. Stop supporting the regular medicine industry wich only makes money of making people sick and the doctor support them to earn money. No wonder people won't cure because they trust on theirself and their own strength. Go to God.

  • psyche, by definition, means "spirit" or "soul".

this is bad news for the "mental health" industry. when we learn to Know Thyself.. not dependent on a "doctor" to "diagnose" (wrong word, the correct one is Identify) FOR us, we no longer NEED them (and we certainly do not need their toxic drugs). you certainly cannot FORCE people into participating in an industry that is... well, QUACK ... because if you did, that is SLAVERY and it is ILLEGAL.

heal thyself... study the real Rx: scripture.

  • and YES, some humans are sensitive enough to perceive energetic influences from the planets themselves... and also Other humans. when we perceive another human's thoughts or feelings, it's empathy and intuitive cognition. if a person experiences this but they are not "diagnosed" properly, the will most likely experience conflict and confusion, causing them to appear "ill" or "mentally / emotionally disturbed". the correct words are necessary to accurately identify a person's "condition".

  • people Experience Life... it's as simple as that.

when a person lacks the ARTiculation (correct words and terminology) to explain their experiences, it's called a "mental" "disorder". symptomatic experiences either please, (euphoria, elation, "hyper-arousal", etc) or displease (upset, disturb, shock, frighten). either case takes one off of their "calm" baseline and causes them the Extreme. we have a social standard to maintain a centered balance.

  • Schizophrenic is the new normal.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC the video explained it great, you are just to cr......uh, never mind.

  • no a psycho has nothing to do with an illness related to schizophernia

  • i got schizophrenia too...this guy talks about schizo's that do not take their meds. It can be treated. But the person with the illness has to take the meds every day, not just when they are feeling bad. Im thinking it should take more then 2 minutes to explain the illness...maybe thats why the video barely explained it. Took me nearly a decade to get out of denial that i was even mentally ill.

  • @akfunnyguy for how long have u been diagnosed with schizophrenia

  • @integral84 been dx'd for over 10 years.

  • "The foundation of all mental illness is the avoidance of legitimate suffering"--Carl Jung. This is merely a perspective and not an absolute truth. I only posted this because i think its very insightful.

  • @nofxmike06 I think you're right when talking about psychological problems, not psychiatric diseases.

  • @Uruguruh I'm sorry I do not follow. Are you saying Carl Jung only meant that in the context of psychological problems and not diseases? Do you believe schizophrenics and others do not try to avoid their suffering?

  • 1 second ago Listen up people, have you ever thought that Schizophrenia is actually supposed to erase dilusion and that our society has deemed it being a bad thing because they don't understand it? Maybe Schizophrenia makes you aware that the Law of Attraction is real and that you believe in something enough it will come to be. Society projects it as being a bad thing so in return people with schizo actually manifest bad thoughs about themselves as well as others.

  • Recently developed/discovered disease. When discovered it was called dementia praecox. In patients with schizophrenia and autism there are four times as many brain mutations than normal people. It requires lifelong medication. However, many symptoms associated with schizophrenia have been found to be effectively dealt with through behavioral therapy. The questions that need to be asked are: Is the excess dopamine a result of the behavior? Or is the behavior a result of the excess dopamine?

  • i have schizophrenia and this explained jack shit

  • say schizophrenia again.

  • YES. finally . i was told i had schizophrenia and was just recently after a couple years, confirmed i no longer have it. a large part of this i attribute to continuing with meds, and being of the belief that what i was experiencing was spiritual emergency. good to see others of the same belief. itis a shame there isn't more support/general awareness for those who need it who want to heal on a fundamental level.

  • Schizophrenia is not a disease, there is no medical pathology performed to diagnose this and other conditions, just an opinion from a person who doesn't really have any grasp at all as to what is going on.Some are starting to see this as a spiritual emergency.

  • @FLUSEM666 I could understand talk about imaginary friends when you are talking about religion. But when it comes to spiritual experience, it is very real. It is not about sucking up to God and hoping he'll intervene in your life or whatever, but about experiencing yourself as part of God. You sense the oneness and interconnectedness of creation. Great development is possible when a person has these experiences, and so they need to be recognized as beneficial, not pathologized.

  • @FLUSEM666 Yes. I might add arrogant. There is a branch of psychology that takes spirituality seriously: transpersonal psychology. Unfortunately, its contribution to the field hasn't been quite recognized by mainstream psychologists.

  • @FLUSEM666 Psychiatry believes there is no such thing as spiritual experience, labeling any assertion of such as pathology. The more materialistic the psychiatrist, the sooner a diagnosis invalidating spiritual experience can be placed.

  • @FLUSEM666 It depends first and foremost on the ignorance of the one placing the diagnosis. With great ignorance the diagnosis can be made pretty quickly.

  • Lorn e gay

  • Chronic? I dunno about that one. He is just observing not really putting much feeling into it. See, instead of looking at the waves coming from Mars and speaking through the fillings in their teeth (which is a sidetrack). The real thing is understanding the voices and their implications. You have to find the rationale behind that and to know that you have to know their life. No doctor wants to spend that much time with one patient. SZ's can't do it if they concluded something and believe it.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC he only had 2 minutes.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC those people are extremly dangerous to themselfs and their enviroment.

99% of them kill themselfs during any time of their life time

  • i dont have any of those sysptoms but a doctor says i have a Schizophrenia.i was like DA FUCK?!!!

  • Referring to schizophrenia as a "disease" is a misnomer. It is a disorder. Cancer (for instance) is a disease. Pneumonia, is a disease. Schizophrenia, however, is not a disease.

The cause(s) and understandings of schizophrenia are neither agreed upon. Like most other "mental disorders", only theoretical assumptions can so far attempt to explain the range of impairing behaviors.

Schizo- (from Greek; split), -phrenia (from Greek; mind); "split-mind"

  • I stopped watching when he described schizophrenia as a "brain disease." lol

  • @piratebri yeah its a cureness lol

its a brain demage hearing voices inside of ur head.

    stop acting goofie

  • Euthenize Upon Diagnosis.

  • WOW he lives where my teacher used to live

  • This guy is an absolute moron. If you're reading this, please pack up your possessions and go far away into the wilderness where you'll have no contact with society ever again. What becomes of you is irrelevant but it will do the world better than you being on the internet.

  • The guy who made this video has no idea what he is talking about. I wonder what his motivation was for creating this video which is completely lacking in valid information. Real Schizophrenics will understand why I say that.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC exactly

  • By the way, the effects of this schizophrenia sounds a lot like childhood.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC He's reciting what they taught him.

  • @BrihannaHeartsDDC I HATE it when they call it a disease.

  • @Zyphet HELL YEAH AINT NO DAMN DISEASE

  • Schizophrenia isn't real, it's just made up by the Jews to keep us whites down. Spread the word!

  • is he schizo I dont understand the point of this talking

  • I have smoked weed since I was14 and I'm turning 30 this year and my brain is totally normal.

  • Same here, i dont know why you got so many thumbs down for your comment. Goes to show you some people wont even accept the truth if you tell it to their face.

  • @neomysterio idiot

  • You are the idiot randomly calling people idiots without stating a reason. I smoke a plant that grows in the dirt, is that so bad?

  • @neomysterio

Opium also contains morphine, which no one will debate is very addictive, and it also grows in the ground. What's your point lol?

  • @papaown My point is that weed is good for you.

  • being psychic doesn't make u psycho

  • @IndigoCat17 thank you. i'm the crazy one because i can read thoughts right?

  • @IndigoCat17 There is no evidence that people can be psychic. So, if someone were to actually believe that they were psychic, I would think that they might have a mental disorder.

  • @IndigoCat17 Yes.. yes it does.. If you truthfully believe you can see the future, you should be put in a home where you can get help.

  • skitzophrenia is not real it is a cover up for children and adults that have opened their psychic mind they can see spirits, and other dimensions they can travel into other dimensions yet they still can be present in this world

  • totaly

  • @IndigoCat17

    i agree

  • i don't know if it's real or not but i abused Diphenhydramine and it caused me to developed acute schizophrenia and it's so fuckin hard to live with this it's 5:17 am and i can't sleep because i have schizophrenia and it's disturbing idk what to do im just tired of this shit

  • @3RDCOAST510ENT Thats not schizophrenia, stop looking for attention faggot.

  • Soooo I'm guessing you're schizophrenic? Or are you psychic? If you're then why didn't you pay attention to the message telling you what your 'check spelling' would have told you?

  • Comment removed

  • This secular clergy member of the church of mental health explaining schizophrenia, is no different than his religious counterpart explaining the trinity to a lay person. Schizophrenia, until its biological etiology is discovered-if ever-will continue to be part of the psychiatric mysticism surrounding all other mental illnesses and disorders. And" treatment" for schizophrenia, is more debilitating than is the putative disease.

  • It is not a disease!

  • I do not understand your being so emphatic about that! What then, is the psychiatrist "treating" if schizophrenia is not a disease? Symptoms? I qualifyingly agree with you: as of yet, there has been no clearly marked biological cause for schizophrenia; and there might not be any such discovery for some time to come. The unpshot to all this is that someday, when schizophrenia is given scientific and medical credibility,- not just from shrinks- then one can speak of a disease, not mental illness.

  • OK, I guess
