Hey digital leisure, I just wanted to say THANKS for bringing Dragon's Lair to the PSP! It is GREAT, I love these games, can you please go ahead and do DL2 and Space Ace for the PSP also? If I were you I would port all your "Video Interactive Games" onto the PSP!!! Thanks for keeping these games ALIVE, I know I spent a TON of money in quarters feeding the Arcade Machines back in the late 80's!
You guys should work with don bluth to create a completely animated rpg/adventure game. Braindead 13 was awesome and would love to see more animated gameplay.
@PALACAT123 I own the game for my DSi XL and the gameplay is solid. Very responsive controls, quick transitions between scenes, and the graphics and animations are sharp and beautiful. It was well worth my money.
You know what I'd like to see, the version of the game that was meant, not that we have. Originally it was going to be multi-branching. Oh, not much, but occasionally there would be 2 ways out of a room that would lead to different areas, a bit more labyrinthine. You can see the artifacts of this in some rooms where Dirk's animation jumps cuts. Wouldn't it be cool if someone committed to making the missing animation so we could have the game as intended instead of just a port.
Wikipedia says that this is also coming out as on the DS in card format, and it also says a PSP download and a Wii disc version are also coming out soon. Is this true?
I dropped so many quarters into this game back in the day (I'm old) I could save Daphne without losing one Dirk! But watching him die was half the fun. This game captivated everyone that happen to walk past the arcade in the local mall. Looks like this version comes as close to the arcade original as I have seen. But I would like to see it finally on a platform that has the full fidelity of video, sound and timings of the arcade.. perhaps Xbox Live Arcade?
